Why is the map system for this game so terrible? Is there a way to place the map on screen so I can navigate better. I've never had an issue like this with the old games and it's almost a game breaker because the maps are huge as fukk.
Yeah. It needs a small hud map.
So terrible

Yeah it's kinda confusing at first but I've figured it out now

You use the research terminal on the tempest or other hubs to access the crafting menus. You can craft armor, weapons, & augmentations which are kind of like weapon/armor mods but you can only use them when you first make something, it's not something you can add on later after you've made the item. There's Milky Way items (weapons/armor from past games), Heleous items (tech found in andromeda), & and Remenant items which is tech found in ruins & whatnot.

There's the research tab which is for crafting new shyt you don't have already. You use research points (mostly acquired by scanning objects) to unlock those items, but you also have to have the materials to craft them too (get familiar with mining in the nomad, MUCH MUCH cheaper than buying materials)

And development which is where you can craft better versions of what you already have. Before you make an item you'll have a couple slots for augmentations that you can apply to the weapon/armor that gives it special effects, bonuses, etc. If you have the required materials you'll be able to make it and it gets added to your inventory. It creates a whole separate item tho, it doesn't boost your current one.

For example I researched and made the Mattock AR level 1. Later on I collected the materials in development to make another one at level 3. I just now made a level 4 mattock with better augmentations so I can now sell the first two that I made and keep the better one.

Just remember weapons mods and augmentations are two different things. Mods can get swapped around at any time and augmentations can only be used during the crafting process, and are permanent.

Think its easier to just say....you can only develop shyt that you have researched. Only exception is shyt you already had the blue print for.

Basically use research points to obtain the blueprint for weapon/armor/mod/ etc. Use materials to develop.

I think my main issue is I dont have enough currency to begin ANY of that...... but good look on the tip of mining. I kinda just got to where I can even mine. I was doing it randomly with no real rhyme or reason (hell didnt even know I'm supposed to search for spots where my meter spikes until like my 5 mine drone).

Hopefully I can get something off that and start creating stuff.... I mainly wanna get my dudes suit up until my HP really starts to grow

The Truth
Performance issues & animation bugs are there, no doubt about that, but it's EASILY an 8/10 game. I still give it a 9/10 so far but I'm a bioware/mass effect Stan since ME1 & KotOR:yeshrug:

A lot of "fans" have been disgruntled over stupid shyt like Cora not being Bisexual (yes theres literally public outrage over that shyt), "not enough" male homo romance options, and the lack of white males in power :mjpls:

Wide range of mixed reviews for a AAA title as well. It's almost as if some reviewers didn't care about that stupid shyt while others were a little more touched by it:mjpls:
Bruh I honestly don't care about NONE of that shyt and I haven't noticed any bugs but one while playing on the XB1S

Only thing pissing me off is lack of creatures to fight, and other intelligent life but I still haven't fully completed the first mission/planet.

Nit picking ass nerds is what it seems like to me tbh. And the fact that they can literally patch any issue up shouldn't affect the overall gameplay/graphic experience.

I also don't give a fukk if I can't have a relationship with another man. I'm trying to fukk with Cora, Ruvi, and that alien bytch all at the same time

Ok this feels like mass effect now brehs :noah:

Back to the Nexus after the first mission and outpost and I just want to go back to Rid and explore and do mad missions.

I think Imma take Drack and Peebee with me on side missions

A few patches can restore this game to greatness :wow:

I spent a hour or 2 just searching and talking to everyone on the tempest....then I went to the Nexus and started exploring and I see the vendors are back and shyt

I love how i can unfreeze nikkas and they're giving me side missions.

I love leveling up and making my team stronger :ohlawd:

Those glyphs are dumb though :dahell:

Any tips or tricks brehs ?

This game is too cheap with the enemy tactics to play this on Insane
