why is marvel being gay releasing 1 episode a week? i don't get it

I realize there's a generation of people that really wouldn't 'get' that. But a lot of the hottest shows, even in the modern day are weekly release for the water cooler effect, that's how TV was done before Netflix and they're starting to see some diminishing returns letting everyone binge whole seasons when they come out. It can easily kill the conversation and longevity around the experience.
With the MCU shows specifically, once the ball gets rolling for real it's gonna be like getting a couple new issues of comics each week.

i get all that, that's good for network tv but this is a STREAMING SERVICE THAT WE PAY for. Netflix released all those marvel shows like luke cage, DD, jessica rabbit, iron fist and it didn't affect their streams in the least.

Yeah they did the same thing with wandavision
They don't just want streams, they want conversation.
None of those Marvel shows, as dope as they were had as much hype or conversation around them as The Boys, who decided to switch to weekly release.
WandaVision without the weekly release is a different experience. Some shows that burn super slow might benefit from a binge format (Ozark, Breaking Bad) but I would say those should be the exceptions, not the rule when it comes to TV, even on streaming services that we pay for lol.

Yeah, so in Winter Soldier when he is visiting her sick bed she is just acting and told his old self to stay in the basement or something.
And old Steve after spending a life with Peggy couldn't go to her funeral because he would run into his younger self.
Also in Civil War, Agent 13 had to know who her uncle was or at least what he looked like and made out with the younger version anyway.
I love that Falcon got no problem with killing people
