R for the sake of R is never a good thing. Logan was a character driven story about mutants forced into being weapons and trying to fight that programming. Logan met his end because of that experimentation There's no Marvel character that is currently being pushed that needs an R rating. Possibly a more mature story depending on who but violence without a purpose is just stupid. Even Deadpool knew the slapstick comedy wasn't necessary for certain scenes like when he was placed in that tank. I wouldn't mind a godbutcher storyline for Thor though

I think Deadpool's "smarts" is a lil overrated

And a PG-13 prolly would be less effective. It was too violent, IMO. The violence got tiresome by the last chase scene. But, it made a great point about the stuff Logan had to live through

Lol The camera loved the lead, great villain, much better written than daredevil, could be engaging without a single punch thrown, Luke's involvement, Netflix cheapness was not a glaring factor to the story or look, big fan of noir/thrillers soaked in macabre

Good, it would feel out of place in the MCU if they randomly had an R rated movie...they have netflix for the edgy stuff...especially since punisher isnt being done in movie format and it seems blade reboot wont be done anytime soon.
