I don't think so. X-Men, X2 and First Class were all well above 80% on RT and DOFP then was something like 93%. You're just going to have to accept that FOX has a pretty good track record

Don't care what the RT score is I don't like them shyts and I feel they're overrated. Just stating my opinion :manny:

None of the movies you mentioned are bad, but none of them are all that good either. They're mediocre as fukk IMO. Same level as the first two Thor films.

You're the same person trying to sell me (and others) on Captain America First Avenger being better than Batman Begins, I think I'll stick with the majority this time, you seem to love mediocrity

Finally got around to seeing it. It was just OK to me. It didn't have the same charm as the first movie, and I felt it tried too hard at times. I'd probably give it a 7/10. I don't really have a desire to rewatch it either, unlike the first one which I rewatched multiple times.

I feel you, but at the same time it's Batman. Even in his comics they do grounded stories about him. I'm fine with a realistic, grounded, dark, and gritty Batman. It becomes a problem for me when they try doing that shyt with Superman.

My biggest beef with the Nolan Batman films is Bales Batman voice, that shyt was terrible and at times distracting. BvS is a bad movie, but they got a LOT of things right with Affleck's Batman. Using the voice changer was smart, as it allowed him to be intimidating, hide his voice, but not sound like a fukking moron that half the audience laughs at.

As far as action goes, the fight scenes are mostly passable, though the whole sequence in China is just fukking dope. The car chase in TDK might be one of the most iconic car chases ever filmed.

I know this is from yesterday so my B but you're right with batman. As a character you can tell any type of story you want with him. Nolan chose to make his movies about organized crime and a post 9-11 world. That's one avenue. Batman is malleable and can fit different worlds which is why I've always disageeed with anyone who says the dark knight trilogy is limited like @Bryan Danielson said. Well I respectfully disagree. Every batman story is one writers interpretation and there's enough in batman where you can take it as far as you want like the psychedelic shyt or grant Morrison stuff or you can keep it grounded and real like long Halloween or nolans stuff and it's all fair game. Just keep the tone consistent.

I'm not trying to sell you on anything, I said I feel The First Avenger is criminally underrated. If you don't feel that way :manny:

Yup, they've done EVERYTHING with Batman at this point. Everybody has an interpretation they like and one that they dislike. Nolan's Batman exists in a world that's much closer to our own (like in Year one). Which is why he was so against a crossover with Superman. The Batman in the Nolan films wouldn't stand a chance against any super powered being.
