I was hoping they would.

But it leads to another major problem I have with Marvel and their Black Characters.

I get you on that.

But Marvel can’t have it both ways. They want to introduce racial elements but won’t be realistic or go full out with it. It’s same reason I couldn’t fukk with Black Panther.

They’re happy to have the black villains or disgruntled retirees critique White America and how it operates. But then have the active Black heroes completely docile or slavish to it

Ain’t no damn way T’Challa would willingly allow White America’s Central intelligence Agency into his country

Ain’t no damn way Falcon would still be calling himself “Captain America” after hearing Black soldiers were used for experiments and then abandoned.

The funny thing is Black Panther vs CIA and Falcon vs White America would have legitimized Marvel in terms of awards and prestige because of the subject matter. Which we know Marvel are chasing. That’s Oscar and Golden Globe winning material right there.

It's just a bunch ass half-steppin by Marvel and Disney.

man, i'm not a comic guy, and maybe it's just the fact that the american flag has been completely hi-jacked, but his costume is fukkin awful. never even felt 1st Cap's was that flamboyant at its worst, and he had some shytty suits.

Caps best mcu suit were with the muted colors and the more tactical vibe that they started in winter soldier.

i like the character but his outfit in comic and mcu look clunky (wings and shield is a bit much but w.e)

In the finale, the choreography was off but sams character has a couple dope moves in civil war



I think if the russobrothers or whoever did shang chi lends a hand in this film, we could get winter soldier-esque fight scenes. This could also force them to alter sams outfit a bit to be more slender so that he can pull of some of his moves.

Maybe even shape it to look like Paul Renaud's or the Standoff comics

way too flamboyant and bright. shoulda gave him a Winter Soldier Cap color scheme. and again, who sees the American flag and has immense pride at this point? it's normally waving beside a "Let's Go Brandon" and "Don't Tread on Me" flag
