People acting like all this "woke" stuff is killing marvel when really it could be the genre had it's run, Disney exploited the hell out of the popularity and now people are tired of it and starting to move on. It happens all the time, we had a zombie movie phase, a vampire movie phase, and this was the superhero run.
The movies have been brain dead trash for a long time, people just got sick of it, and smarten up to it.

LOL. I feel you but lets not pretend that the movies were some sophisticated pieces of storytelling cinema.
Sue is the heart of the team. When Reed is written right (as Jack Kirby originally had him) he can be kinda too obsessed with all his inventions and expirements to really focus on leading like he should. Johnny is a narcissistic hot head who is obsessed with fukking broads and partying hard. Ben is irritated all the time because he got turned into a rock monster and suffering body dysmorphic disorder. Sue is the one that can seduce Reed away from science long enough so he can actually lead, grab her baby brother Johnny by the ear and make him stop trolling Ben who is usually one second away from clobbering everyone in the Baxter building.
She also brings drama with the whole Namor and Reed love triangle soap opera stuff these movies like to incorporate. The only way I see Marvel messing up is if they try to make her the idea guy. That's Reeds role. He never needed Sue to do his homework. He needed her to bring him back to earth when his head is in the Negative Zone.

Why is the Fantastic Four movie focused on Sue? That makes no sense.

I want to say Jessica Alba’s role was played like that to the T. I honestly believe the movie wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t a rewatchable though. I think all four characters were cool, banter was great, i actually liked Dr. Doom and thought the story was decent.
Why was it a mid movie? I honestly can’t put my finger on it. It’s better than mid but not great. Of the Wolverine movies, Logan was great. The other two were decent.
Not all movies are going to be great. What can marvel do better for Fantastic Four that Fox didn’t?
