Ive been talking about Ike on this board for a while and all I got was crickets and deflections from marvel stans.

Now hes gone and all of a sudden he was the one holding marvel back.

But how can he hold back something that was infalliable and a perfect studio already?

no one noticed bc A. Cheadle is better in every way shape and form than Howard, B. the character ultimately sucks

There's only one color that matters, green.

They replaced Norton as Bruce Banner.

RDJ and Sam Jackson made cameos as their respective characters as a surprise clip during the credits in that movie.

Then comes Mark Ruffalo.

Marvel just doesn't fukk around.

Who gives a fukk. The character sucks in the movies anyways. Like really fukking sucks.

Yeah, hearing background information stories is interesting but in the end I don't care how they treat talent. The movies are mostly good and the connected universe is innovative on this scale.
This will actually be really hard to fukk up at this point. How many bad movies like rotten instead of fresh tomatoes level bad movies in a row would they have to make to fukk up the brand? I think every Disney/Marvel joint has yet to be generally given negative reviews.

In truth when I read this last night, I didn't figure anyone would make a thread about it because I figured no one gave a shyt because word has been out about this cat for months, specifically in threads on here and no one wanted to pay attention to it.

This is all I've been trying to say yet cats are talking about the business as if I need a lesson. Everything was Gucci before yet we're throwing a parade because the guy that presided over this perfect, unprecedented run is gone? Either we didn't care before and don't care now or we should have cared before and we care now. I'm not being disingenuous or being "that dude" that has to be different for the sake of being different. I'm looking for logic and consistency

People weren't complaining because:

1. Many people didn't know who he was.

2. Many people didn't know the ins and outs of the business. Notice that the majority of the people complaining about him, actually worked with him in someway shape or form.

If it got so bad that Feige had to talk to Perlmutter's superiors (the Disney people) about him, and they actually did something about it, that says it all.

As for the casual fan, it's important cuz a lot of films / ideas that were blocked by him due to silly shyt are now back on the table, especially shyt related to Fox.

But if many people didn't know who he was, why are many people acting excited about him being out of the picture? Casual fans could care less about stuff that was blocked, hence them being casual fans. Real fans that care enough to know ideas that got blocked would logically be the ones to be complaining when Perlmutter had control. But thse real fans didn't give a shyt before. I'm not contending that dude being gone is a good thing for Marvel going forward. I'm pointing out how ridiculous it is to act like this is a big deal when everything Marvel based before this got universal praise and it was all sunshine and lollipops
