I get why they consider Avengers 2 a 'failure' since it didn't outdo the first one's gross, but I think they failed to understand exactly how much of an event the first Avengers was. It was the absolute first time something like this happened and that's what helped sell those extra tickets to even people who didn't follow the MCU. I'm kinda hoping this deal doesn't go thru. I don't want to see a further split between Marvel properties. Right now Marvel can do TV shows and cartoons with X-Men and Fan4. I know we might not ever get a complete Marvel Universe poppin on the silver screen, but I have hopes they'll do it in TV, animated or live action (I'm rooting for animated)
