Only the first two Avengers and both Guardians of the Galaxy had a director that also wrote the movie.

Whedon became a member of the Marvel team, developing the tv show for them and serving as a creative consultant for the other movies.

Gunn had signed on for multiple films from the jump.

There's a big difference between an outline and a script.

'Black Panther': Kevin Feige Reveals Ryan Coogler Is Co-Writing; Talks Filming Dates

April 2016 Feige says Coogler is working on a draft. Filming began January 2017. So it took 8+ months to go from draft to filming. To the best of our knowledge, Coogler is still working on an outline.

They've already got 2 films scheduled for 2020, 3 for 2021. You're asking them to set a date just to set a date.

Which of those did he write?
Coogler did a Hot 97 interview where he said he didn't write a word for Black Panther's script until he took a trip to Africa which was in August 2016.

Also Joe Robert Cole is probably preparing stuff to add in the script whenever he's called up.

Blade in the comics even though he exists and is around hes kind of in his own world and rarely collabs with other heroes and if he does its usually on his own terms (usually killing vampires)

I wonder if they'll do the same here especially if the movie becomes successful :jbhmm:

Weve seen C list heroes become A list heroes before (GotG)

It's gonna be weird with the F4 coming so late considering that 60% of what we have in the films originated in their comics, now they gonna be the new heroes for a change.

Really I don't even want them I just want Dr. Doom, Inhumans (I know they had a failed show but they are better in the context of F4 stories) and Galactus/Silver Surfer

Marvel/Disney is on fukking fire :whoo:

No RDJ :yeshrug:
No Chris Evans :yeshrug:

At this point the actors/directors are inconsequential. They will produce fire no matter what. The only director I think they NEED is Coogler for BP, but shyt even that is up for debate.

And the only character that doesn’t seem replaceable at the moment is Tom Holland but we can easily slide Miles up in there.

WATTBA :wow:
