Why do people keep saying marvel is going after the kids. That's a big misconception. At the end of the day unless DC making rated R movies they're all for the kids. How many graphic deaths did they show in the dark knight trilogy or MOS?DC movies are just as anticeptic as marvel so stop it.
I was about to pretty much say the same thing.
It's crazy DC Stans keep spinning that same argument while they got GL on they resume, Flash which is campy as hell and has way more jokes than tears on it, Arrow, and how do you explain Supergirl & Vixen???? A fukking cartoon??
DC made 3 Batman movies that have nothing to do with the Universe they trynna build and cats be like "bu bu bu but DC isn't for kids"
You DC Stans may want to want to consider waiting till they drop 2 or 3 more other properties before making that judgement
Word my bad. Well then here's the quesrion: why in the hell would you see something just to hate? That seems like a massive waste of time tho right? Like @Whitty Hutton said, it's not Cowboys vs Redskins or giants vs Eagles or Ravens vs steelers. Those are long long longtime rivalries where most fans were forced to pick and they're passed down from generation to generation. I live in the DC metro area and I can tell you that Cowboys and Redskins shyt is real and there are kids who hate one side or the other and don't know why other than the fact their dads and granddads told them to. I never had to pick which comic books I'd read as a kid, I read spider man and batman and get just as excited for a dc flick as I do a marvel flick, but it all depends on the focal point of the movies. I've seen every marvel flick in theaters but I have no desire to see an ant man movie and even though it's early and I could change my mind, I have no desire to see a cyborg movie when that drops in a few years

I think he made the right call. And yeah they probably would've had to change the race of a character to get him in there but who would you change to be black?

You might be right. He's got too much presence and gravitas to be falcon; nobody is going to buy will as a sidekick. He could've been a villain tho but then you're losing the draw by putting him under makeup

The DC vs. MARVEL stanning has been going on for years I'm sure but like you, I like what I like regardless of the brand.
Personally I think it's just healthy good fun as long as the rivalry arguments don't get ridiculously out of hand amongst posters.
Oh, and at the moment, like you, I'm just not sure how a Cyborg movie is going to pique my interests. That may change...
If WB/DC are dead set on producing a comic movie with a hero of African-American decent, Static would've been a more viable option. I was never much of a fan of Cyborg outside of the early Teen Titans eps.

Why go see it just to hate? Simple. To reinforce your criticisms. To say I told you so and to also reinforce why you thing the other side is better
all while putting month in both companies coffers. Which makes it a win win for both. Unless you get a green lantern type flop both DC and Marvel stans can feel pretty good. The only saving grace MOS had was its unique take on krypton and the visuals.

And that too is kind of sketchy to say. I mean it's like DC only gets that claim be default.
It's not like Marvel "can't" make compelling great animated films, they just choose to not do them as frequent as DC.
Cuz I thought Hulk vs was extremely good and at the time knowing absolutely nothing about Dr. Strange.... That movie was VERY good.
There are others but I don't feel the need to list
