I think he made the right call. And yeah they probably would've had to change the race of a character to get him in there but who would you change to be black?

Adam Warlock. It would've definitely had to have been a character that wasn't from earth. And definitely not what vin desel did with groot. Will Smith probably the only black actor that could've pulled off being warlock tho.

Why go see it just to hate? Simple. To reinforce your criticisms. To say I told you so and to also reinforce why you thing the other side is better all while putting month in both companies coffers. Which makes it a win win for both. Unless you get a green lantern type flop both DC and Marvel stans can feel pretty good. The only saving grace MOS had was its unique take on krypton and the visuals.

I can see that. I just don't believe in spending money on something I truly have no interest in. It's like people "hate watching" shows. There's too much dope stuff to do with your time then waste an hour or more of your life watching something with the intent of hating it. I just don't get it breh

The DC vs. MARVEL stanning has been going on for years I'm sure but like you, I like what I like regardless of the brand.
Personally I think it's just healthy good fun as long as the rivalry arguments don't get ridiculously out of hand amongst posters.
Oh, and at the moment, like you, I'm just not sure how a Cyborg movie is going to pique my interests. That may change...

If WB/DC are dead set on producing a comic movie with a hero of African-American decent, Static would've been a more viable option. I was never much of a fan of Cyborg outside of the early Teen Titans eps.

You might be right. He's got too much presence and gravitas to be falcon; nobody is going to buy will as a sidekick. He could've been a villain tho but then you're losing the draw by putting him under makeup

Both universes are on the same team, they just score differently.

Marvel is a passing touchdown..
DC is a rushing touchdown..

Neither one is more valuable than the other, as long as they find their way to the endzone I ain't trippin'.

Fair enough. But as of right now, I highly doubt this is even on the table for a movie.

TV wise - Blue Marvel could be really interesting in the Agent Carter universe, given his storyline links with JFK and SHIELD.

Ryan Lunberg basically summed it up this morning. Zach Snyder makes beautiful looking movies visually but he doesn't make good movies. MOS looked good visually (too many dark filters if you ask me).. but did you really care about any of the characters? Lets be honest. The ONLY character I cared about was ZOD.

the dark filters did annoy me. but overall i think i want to like MOS but i cant make it through it. it just throws me off. the beginning stuff with Crowe is great and Zod is well played but overall i always end up like and he is gonna have these dark ass filters in BVS again just so its "grimey" and "dark" and "mature". we'll see how it goes though...

Why do people keep saying marvel is going after the kids. That's a big misconception. At the end of the day unless DC making rated R movies they're all for the kids. How many graphic deaths did they show in the dark knight trilogy or MOS? DC movies are just as anticeptic as marvel so stop it.

yeah thats annoying as well. because there are jokes in the movie now its for kids? the movies arent isolating themselves from kids but its marketed for everyone
