Been neglecting this thread like a single mother
Anyhow things are going real good. I'm progressing pretty fast in the Xingyi curriculum because I'm diligently practicing every day. I feel physically strong as shyt right now, especially my lower body. I'm still in the phase of correcting my body's movement through what the Chinese call "Shen Fa" meaning body methods. It's weird, because if i'm moving fast or doing a sport or working on other physical things i'll catch myself using xingyiquan footwork or using my dan tian expression to get things done.
I realized what a massive task i have ahead of me learning this system if I wanna truly call myself a master. I'd say about 10 years of hard work. But I welcome it. It's hard to balance work and my workouts since they drain you physically and mentally.
