In anticipation for TLJ, I binged the entire SW movies for the first time about a month before it was about to drop. I didn't even bother to watch it even tho I planned to when it dropped online. I didn't even care when it leaked (and I didn't read any reviews.):mjlol:

Films did nothing for me. Rogue One was my favorite, and the only flick I'll buy if I find it for cheap. :ld:

I didn’t even have a problem with Luke’s death...I think it was even fitting...he became like all the crazy, ineffective Jedi’s before him hiding in a swamp

But all the new characters suck...Finn is a c00n, Rey is dry and boring, and the Asian girl is annoying

The fighter pilot and the general with purple hated were the best new parts of the trilogy

So much from the new trilogy is an attempt to copy what came before

But it’s going through the motions...Disney is not good with reinventing the wheel with these franchises

With Marvel you can do by the numbers shyt because comics but Star Wars is an entirely different beast
shyt, forget about Luke for a second, the fact that they killed off the gawd Admiral Akbar like it was nothing so they could push that purple haired feminist wet dream is one of the worst crimes of TLJ. The entire dynamic of that shytty escape plan subplot would have been far more compelling if Poe had to question the decisions of a respected veteran like Akbar instead of some new character we never heard of.

Paired with the completely pointless Finn/Rose subplot the sequel didn't even bother to give two of its three principal characters something decent to do. Just pure bullshyt.

The force awakens was okay, The last Jedi did major numbers only because of the way TFA ended..... Luke with a slow turnaround taking off his hood while rey hands him the saber, all while the force theme music is playing (same sound we first heard when Luke looked at the binary sunset on tatooine)
:banderas:

But after we saw the last Jedi :rudy:

:camby:

Breh the movies mad no sense, in TFA they say Luke left a map to his location in the event that he is needed. And then in TLJ he says to Rey Sue get out oh here because he came to that location to die.:why: Kathleen Kennedy the dumb bytch should take note and learn that inconsistent shyt like that occurs when you have one director direct and then get another director to pick up where the last director left off but run with his own thing.

Yeah but she and Poe had chemistry, which is something Finn and Rey lack

I’d rather see a movie about them

The problem with star wars and star wars fans is that they think they will get movies that feel like the original trilogy. And they won't. The movies are special, made at a very special time and had all the right people involved.

Star Wars is just a name now, there isn't any intrigue or magic anymore just movies trying to be Star Wars with half ass characters and boring story lines. People hear the music and see the famous beginning crawl and think they are getting star wars. You are not and you never will.

I disagree somewhat Rogue one was a very good movie in the fact that it kept the spirit of the original trilogy in mind while still presenting a fresh story and compelling characters and enthralling and exciting action scenes.

The Last Jedi was just a complete hot mess

Rogue one got lucky but I don't share all the fan fare for it, the movie is boring af. Especially the first half but gets better although I couldn't care less if I saw it again. The Darth Vader cameo saves it and is another reason why star wars sucks now, no Vader. He made those films.

To each his own but Rogue One shyts on TFA and TLJ.

They really need to focus I think on Disney App shyt for Star Wars. More fleshed out stories.

TfA and last Jedi were so bad it wasn't hard to make a better movie by basically not being associated with any of those shytty characters. It's still not all that great, star wars fans have to hang their hat on something tho.

Worst part of these movies is them killing off characters with zero payoffs.

Then on top of that, the person that is dead in real life, that plays the character we care about the least, they keep alive:dead:

God damn man... didn't even think about it like that.:Sasbrown:

What a cluster fukk:Mjblessed:

Again to each his own. I myself thoroughly enjoyed it. Your tastes are yours.

Here's hoping these debacles humbled them that they can't just put out anything.

There's consequences for trash. TFA and TLJ are inexcusable.

Didn't even bother with Solo.

You ain't miss much.

They had a pointless cameo to pander to fans which sucks cause it'll most likely not go anywhere beyond what they showed

Glover was dope as Lando though

Like seriously what was Disney thinking?

3 weeks after Infinity War
A week after Deadpool 2
5 months after the TLJ disaster?
All the bad press leading up to it.

Not to mention it looked weak as hell.
