The writers were gifted a character we've known and loved for half a century and permission to kill him off. People should've been tearing up and clapping with his swan song. Instead my whole theater was just confused like "What....? Is he dead? That's it?"I wouldn't mind Luke dying but the way they did it in the film was ass...
Contrast that to when Thanos dusted the new Spider-Man, a character we've known for one movie and a half. Even tho we knew he's coming back, the theater still was:
I was hyped when I first saw him wield the blue saber in The Force Awakens trailer.Not to mention Finn being the biggest c00n in the entire galaxy
One movie later, he's human Jar Jar Binks.
