how is that being smart? everybody in the hood ain't out to get you. hell many people, the majority probably aren't out to get you. to these white people if they see a black person they don't know period in a hoodie that level of discomfort you're expressing about being in the hood at night kicks in for them.

a lot of the posters here are stuck in their own perspectives. they can't mentally step outside themselves and see something from an entirely different perspective and go "ah I see that such and such person might feel differently about the subject than I do because our experiences are entirely different."

Cause it's the hood, of course nikkas gonna be on alert. Low income areas breed crime. The problem is when nikkas like black thought say ALL black youth should be looked at as threats. Not every black person lives in the hood or is a thug. When I was in Bankhead Court in Atlanta, I was catious because it is known as a high crime area. When I go to Gwinett or the Perimeter mall in Dunwoody, I'm not cautious like that and yes there are plenty of black people in both of those areas. The difference is, they are not KNOWN as high crime areas. Thats common sense right? And then ask yourself when the last time Mark Cuban been to a high crime area? That dude lives in a gated community and hangs in the richest part of every city he is in. How fukking often would he come in contact with an actual thug nikka? What he was saying is he is suspect of ALL black people.
