I've grown up in some of the worst sections of Oakland there is. You can't tell me nothing about nikkas, I know my people very well. I'm just like you, if someone seen me walking up the street at night they would probably be scared until I started talking to them. I resemble something most people in general fear. I've walked past cars and seen people lock their doors or parked somewhere and hear people turn on their car alarms.

I can't be mad at that because the night before a nikka that looked like me just ran in a 7-11 and made everyone lay down. It is what it is, I understand the fear. nikkas got mad at DJ Mustard for saying he wants to get enough money to move where nikkas can't go, I understood just what he meant.

Most of these cats on here are white and if they are black, never experienced conflict in their life....So they aint gon understand where you coming from

Its real in these streets...but my only gripe is that the nikkas who get money, need to stay and invest in the hood as opposing to wanna go lay next to white folks for the sake of braggin.....

But that's been our mental illness for the last 100 years or so....what can you do.....

He is exposing what most white people feel. They are inherently afraid of black people...period...If they do not know you..they at first meeting are afraid of what you might do...how can you be cool with that? Who are they to judge me..

Cuban didn't invent that stereotype he's just citing it to make a point. That's a real actual common stereotype that a black male in a baggy hoodie is a potential threat to white people.

Who are they to judge you? Who is anybody to judge anybody else? Who is anybody to look down on short people? Who is anybody to look in disgust at fat people? Who is anybody to look at two men or women holding hands and be disgusted? You aren't a special snowflake you're a human being in a world where humans (including yourself) look at other humans and make snap judgments about them.

The man's point was we need to acknowledge and address this head on and people wanna argue with him about a dumb stereotype he cited to make the point. the whole point itself is lost on them.

But yet when it comes to blacks, We also gotta be "extra sensitive" "Understand all the facts" shut up or focus on "black on black crime" That deflection amongst our selves is the reason why many feel they can speak openingly about us and disrespect us without having to feel any repercussions. You think Cuban would say some shyt like "If I see two gay couples walking, I'm gonna walk on the other side of the street because they disgust me"? the analogy is this you walk down the street and see something you've been taught to fear or actually do fear do you take precautions to protect yourself or put yourself in a position to flee? i used an unfamiliar pit bull off it's chain because it's something many people have been taught to be leery of and it transcends that of the racial example. a black person would look at it and a white person would look at it and have similar thoughts. i also used a pit bull because I've had unfamiliar ones run up to me in a playful manor wanting to be petted and played with. pit bulls are dogs that get bad raps, despite the stereotype that surrounds them they're all not vicious attack dogs but people fear them anyway.
