sterling cracked that door letting us peek in, and while trying to close it as fast as they could, mark attention whoring ass tripped and opened it a lil more....and I love it....the veil being pulled back more and more, and more shyt keeps slowly hitting the fan....right now, we really just need that vote...even though mark trying to warn others in the culture to think long and hard about this, the owners gonna be forced to oust sterling outta fear of future money that could be lost....the min they do, I know sterling gonna give me what I want...he gonna use every breath left in his old piece of shyt body to rip the veil down, knock down the door, and expose others in his 'culture'....then maybe, just maybe, that will be the wake up call a lot of brothas/sistas and other people of color needed to see the light...

Just listening to this shyt on First Take got me hot. Stephen A. saying it's cool to be scared of black people in hoodies as long as you don't kill them? It's that fear that got Trayvon killed in the first place.

If I see a white person cross the street on me I'm chasing em down. Not even to hurt em just because. Matter fact something similar happened to me before. I was walking downtown in broad daylight with my homeboy. Some white chick a few feet in front of us turned around, saw us, moved off the sidewalk and stopped so we could pass her. Me and the homie looked at each other like and we stopped too. Shorty basically started crying and pleading for help asking us to just let her go. Real spit. I couldn't believe it.

You try to fight intolerance with tolerance but I don't know if I have the patience. I really feel like beating the shyt out of a white person right now.

so you look at an avatar online and make a snap judgment about the person that has it but have the nerve to condemn a man making a statement about people including himself making snap judgments?

the analogy is this you walk down the street and see something you've been taught to fear or actually do fear do you take precautions to protect yourself or put yourself in a position to flee? i used an unfamiliar pit bull off it's chain because it's something many people have been taught to be leery of and it transcends that of the racial example. a black person would look at it and a white person would look at it and have similar thoughts. i also used a pit bull because I've had unfamiliar ones run up to me in a playful manor wanting to be petted and played with. pit bulls are dogs that get bad raps, despite the stereotype that surrounds them they're all not vicious attack dogs but people fear them anyway.

in other words it's something people look at and make a hasty generalization about and that generalization may be right and it may be wrong. the generalization is made out of ignorance and it's made out of fear. the analogy is perfect.

you call his point extreme but IMO probably more white people than not will see that black man in a hoodie and feel a level of discomfort until they're away from him.

this kinda shyt is born from ignorance and unfamiliarity. if humanity as a whole ever got past stuff like this we'd be one step closer to a utopia but ultimately people will look at unfamiliar or unknowns and feel fear. it's not going anywhere. at the very least we should stop pretending the sentiments he voiced aren't real or common. they are.
