I'm happy for him, and this was a great decision for both him and Top Rank. Glad they were able to come to an agreement. This does wonders for boxing too. I mean, with this deal, it's likely we'll see Bradley/Pac III, possibly even IV. We'll probably get Marquez/Pac VII, in which the winner will fight the winner of Rios/Alvarado IV. Whoever thinks boxing is dying obviously hasn't looked Top Rank's business model.
When I first read this post I was like this nikka can't be serious. As I kept reading I started :laff:

He has his own company (MP Promotions) like Floyd does already.

He has fighters signed under him, but wont fight under his OWN umbrella:snoop:
That is why I think it is solely because of some misguided loyalty to Arum that he keeps re-signing. There is no other excuse for it besides that.
Oh well, unless Bob signs some new blood or the detente between him and De La Hoya ends up being more than just the ramblings of a fresh out of rehab junkie and we get so e co-promotional fights, it looks like Manny's dance card is going to be full of deja vu matches for the next 2 years.
