Def read Heavenly Delusion you aint seeing the anime for 4-5 + years at least. I honestly see the series ending before S2 happens tbh. I do want to reread it cause seeing everything comes to together and realizing will prob have me like

Honestly I'm not a fan with the two timelines being told at the same time. Author obviously did it if this story was told in chronological order it doesn't work. Imo the stuff that the anime didn't cover yet is really good and the most recent chapters have been

Ragna Crimson Vol 5

This was mostly a setup volume, still pretty solid.

Crimson using the full confusing of Silverware Princess falling in love with Ragna to get them to allow them for help. It seemed kind of obvious Starlia would agree as soon as Ragna said anything, but his speech was actually decent. Tho holy crap the makinga parody of the tsundere troupe with her . They would be kind of fukked without Crimson, so good thing he pushed through. Tho Crimson only seeking out what is good for him, but well in this case Ragna, Crimson and Silverware Princess.

No surprise Artemisia is fukki ng shaken up, but damn her losing her confidence really made her lose her time magic. You know she acts like a saint, but I feel like this is the first time we get to see the true Artemisia. She goes on about what God wants, but I feel like something is up. Also considering the fact that these dragon monarchs originated their powers from her. That dream she had with the one who she called God, was her sister that she didn't save? Is it potential that she couldn't save her that she uses God as an excuse to wipe out humaninty. She is definitely not sane that much is certain.

Crimson just flexing by improving their teleport magic by tenfold. Crimson does warn Ragna about Kamui, who by all accounts is similar to him in that he is a freakshow of strength. It does feel very likely that this won't be the first interaction between these two. I like what they did with Starlia towards the end of the volume. Showcasing that she is willing to put her life on the line as she lived on her instincts, as opposed to Ragna who just fights lol.

anime did go at a faster pace then I thought they would do. I think they covered 6 vols instead of the usual 4-5. Tho from what I recall nothing important was skipped, imo the anime gave a really good taste of how the manga is. (Tho manga is more brutal I would say.)

Ragna Crimson Vol 6

The back and forth in this whole battle was great . Ortho-Zoro is scaring, but man aint striking fear like Crimson be doing.

The start something very alarming was mentioned. Orth-Zoro mentions that he retains the memories, but has not attachment to him. Even more suspect he just holds admiration for the dragon monarch. This family that Ultimatia made feels very artificial. Basically when they get made into superior dragons they lose their sense of self. Granted in the case of Tara mentions mentally they are the same, but the connections that they lose and gain as a consequence makes them essentially a new person. As fukked up as someone llike Crimson is he is an evil person with neutral goals. While Ultimatia feels more and more of a character that you can't stand. She at first seems sweet but more and more her goals are evil and while she may be nice. No true nice person would accept these goals. Not to mention manipulate an individual and claim that she is saving them. Her seeing people actually suffering when dying should show that she is truly an evil person.

The first big part of the fight is between Ragna and Tara. And I am actually shocked Tara didn't lose .Tho Ragna having two forms. Humans and sword mode basically. Sword mode he is strong and he basically can't actually die. But he loses mobility. We aren't surprised that Ragna doesn't want help given he loses those closest to him. But DAMN Shin gave he a taste of reality. . But it was all deserved Ragna thinks he can handle the burden on his own. But he doesn't realize that not only is that stupid and impossible on his part, but its disrespectful for his allies. Just like how Starlia humbled Shin he is doing the same to Ragna.

Ortho-Zoro pulled of something big brain strats. FIguring out the teleportation just being one but being able to utilized corrupted humans since adding them into the range will force the teleportation device to require more magic. Then them adding that dragon that can control time and shyt looked like checkmate for them. Especially when you added a 2nd dragon that blocks all things from approaching the time magic dragon.

Defeat looks inevitable but something that Ortho-Zoro should have took account more is how did the range of the teleportation circle differ so much from what he expected. But not seeing that gave the Crimson the one opening he needed to turn the tide of battle so they have a chance. But holy crap this dude created a grenade that is not much in standard use but for those that can move in time it will massively damage it. This man pulling all of the stops to beat Ultimatia and make her suffer. Tho her time control magic is much flexible then that dragon. But Crimson continues to show how fukked up he is using the civilians. But we know he is gonna use everything he has more his goals.

Crazy thing this whole battle aint over yet.

Back to the journey. But some of the stuff we learned we kinda new, but when put together its kind of an insane plan. They would breed super humans for heaven. In reality they were creating a powerhouse that could dominate the world. Using these children is beyond sick. Regardless of their intentions there is no forgiving them.

The all of a sudden date between Yuuhi and Akane turned into a weird double date. Where it became so awkward that it was hilarious. . Yuuhi actually finally developing feelings, but dude is sounding like a siscon with someone who aint even his sister. Aoi looking these kids like wtf am I watching

Ragna Crimson Vol 7

Considering Silverware Princess is fighting on the frontlines. The tatical fight between Crimson vs Ortho-Zoro be using any fukked up means for victory.

Ortho-Zoro plan to eliminate the princess is a precise one since without her the whole argentum forces falls apart. But a simple suicide attack from one of the dragons aint enough. We kinda of see a new life in Ragna. Shin's words really did a number on him, which made him realize he needs to step his game up. Since basically wake up you think you can handle this on your own but you are actually getting your ass whooped. But as Ragna steps up so does Shin and the old man. These 3 really making for a frightening trio even Ragna alone before was a lot to fight. But he is stronger with these other two eliminated.

Crimson really going the extra mile to get his victory. Him using civilians is strategically very smart considering the enemy was using civillians that are just corrupted. An even match of fukked up tatics with Ortho-Zoro. Crimson truly goes to any measure to corrupt someone, which explains the non gender he has. Uses whatever is more convinent at the given moment. Male with Ragna and female with his subordinates. But as he tries to manipulate Fuu, his sister saves him. She uses teleport magic on Crimson, which puts him out of the picture. For Starlia's sake this is more for her favor.

Borgius is finally ready at full power for one final stand hell you have him and still have Kamui as backup sheeesh. But the SilverWare princess has a presence similar to Princess Lakucia. It is heavily assumed that when Ortho-Zoro in his human was close with Princess Lakucia and the effect Starlia has on him is similar to Lakucia. Tara's blow didn't knock down Silverware princess completely and Ortho-Zoro is not in the right state of mind. Things can go in either direction when Volume 8 starts.

Also been reading History's mentalist. Pretty interesting read so far only 3 chapters. Seing the Mc interacting with historical figures and as he helps them they in return seem to help him. As a former Grad student a lot of things for the MC I can relate to.

Tbh his chapter could have Been split into two. Still another great one nonetheless. In filming you will always have unfortunate circumstances and it’s beautiful how they finish filming as himeki breaks through this forced obligation she had for her mother. These two points were executed wonderfully. Himeki truly became the character.

Realy good sports focused chapter. As much as Taki wants to focus on nationals, he still needs to beat the rest of the first years in that tourney before thinking about nationals. Also Natsu and Yumeka facing off is also something that could happen. Manga has been on point lately.

Kill Blue Ch. 18 - Kind of cool we get to see a high acclaimed assassin guild. But they also middle schoolers come on man . This damn dude creating explosions from his golf racket .Last page makes it clear what the author's intentions with Juzo.

Ice Head Gill Ch. 9 - Looks like we are getting somewhere with this story. Altho this King is hella suspect.

Ragna Crimson Vol 8

Whoa so much shyt happening and it happened so damn fast . I do think one criticsm with the manga is that in these past 2 volumes we see he is able to push back his limits when absorbing the blast from Tara and as well when Kamui shows up. It does cause issue how strong he is. But given Crimson told Ragna to proceed with caution something tells me even Ragna with all his power isn't something that would make the fight with Kamui an easy one.

Gotta say I have respect for Tara, he was a solider through and though. Like any great solider he is more then willing to give up his life for the cause that he is supporting. Granted you could say them working for Ultimata is very manipulative and not they would have done originally. I think this is quite evident when she is looking down on Ragna. More and more her true color is showing. But Tara himself was a great Villain himself he gave himself for Zoro was great.

Great moment between Ragna and Lia since together they were able to stop Tara's self destruction blast from harming their forces. For Ragna seeing victory and having someone he cares about by his side after that victory is a huge momentum boost. Well it was till Kamui shows up. This fight with him highlights my issue that I mentioned above since Ragna was beyond exhausted and him being able to fight Kamui even a bit is hard to believe. Ragna does end up losing as expected and what is exactly the deal with Lia. She still is def a big part of the story, but in human terms she is dead. Will she become Ragna's sword or will her life end once she makes the sword for Ragna. It is definitely intriguing what is her fate currently. Is the vision Ragna has with Lia is it from the past or future? Feels too important to be just a dream.

So the plan failed bring Lia to Solrian Church to seek refugee didn't go as exactly as planned. Now Ragna is being used as a bargning chip to turn into a dragon. But the creepy thing about this church in that they are filled with the faces of Ultimata and not surprised Ragna lost it for a min . But is Ragna truly safe, but given their goals are they aligned with Crimson maybe?

Ragna Crimson Vol 9

So right now we meet up with Ragna after the plan to bring Lia to the Solarian church felt. Why do they have Ultimata's face. Since there plan to eliminate the dragons means eliminating her. Is she one of the clones that betrayed them or possibly the original. No surprise that Ragna refused to join them. Unsurprisingly Crimson is back at it and once again the plan to wait till Ragna grows stronger falls apart. At this point Ragna is way too strong and too impatient for that to work. Ragna clearly believes Lia is alive and really is willing to sacrifice everything for it along with killing Ultimata.

Ragna is basically too dense for the poison Crimson fed him . Well there goes his backup plan and we learn that Crimson is the former Dragon Monarch. No surprise Crimson was a major dictator, but the change from him to Ultimata is pretty drastic. Tho at this point Ultimata's true nature is still pretty questionable imo. Crimson throwing a damn tantrum. But he slowly figures it out that Ultimata can't control time anymore so you might as well take action now. Well he about to join Ragna and the rest of them. Tho kinda surprised Lia's corps figured out she was alive. Kinda nice it didn't have to be dense Ragna bringing the news.

Well it is a pretty damn big turn around we back with an even bigger battle. So Kamui and the rest of the dragons put some magic poison within Lia so basically as soon Ragna and the gang come back its curtains for her unfortunately. Damn Ragna losing someone close to him damn . It nice development actually for Ragna instead of mourning that she is gone and dead by his side. He is going to be grateful that he met her. Now we got round 2 of Ragna vs Kamui

Ragna Crimson Vol 10

Series is pretty solid. The strength of this series is the characters, I think it does a great job at it. No character is purely evil evil, but at the same no one is pure good outside of Leo. The wide cast on both of the protaginist side of Ragna and the Anagonist side of the dragon monarchs is done well. Main criticsm is how silverline is handled since from a power level stand point it creates a confusion.

But this vol really was the start of a long series of battles. The first being between Ragna and Kamui. Its good to see that Ragna is more then hanging with him now. Feels like Ragna's emotional state is important for these being fights. That farewell talk to Lia really was good to clear his mind. At least Kamui isn't 100% scum that he allowed Ragna to say goodbye, but again that is just to give himself a better fight. Looks like Ragna cutting off a Kamui's arm makes it look possible he can win.

But damn Lia was an awesome character .She became super likable, which helped breath a bit of life into the story since before it was mainly just Ragna and Crimson. The former before she came into the story was so fukking dense that only was consumed by revenge. Meeting her definitely helped him a lot as it let him remember that what he wants to protect. Just like Leo he wants to protect the corps. Meanwhile we know how twisted Crimson is. She was a great influencer as you can see how she affected the various corps members. Even as a kid she was brimming with personality. The fact that Nazarena someone whos sole mission was to recruit Lia grew a soft spot for her when she had her own organization that she belonged to.

Crimson vs Ultimata fight is interesting since Crimson isn't even using 10% of his power and Ultimata is already having big trouble with him. Still the mention by Crimson that God takes the form of what you would find hardest to ignore makes you wonder if God the real villain of this story? It seems that in some fashion all of Ultimata's sisters were left for dead potentially by some decision of hers. That guilt could be what god is using on her. Only guess could be she didn't like how they seemed to priortized important people instead of saving everyone. But again it begs the issue of her current goals and contradicts her.

Was great to see the remaining of the corps team working together to beat Zora . It does beg the question why did Zora basically fought till his death, yes Tara did, but that he had no choice. He is an interesting character whom is the first you can see that becoming a dragon effectively destroyed his previous humanity. Ultimata saving them is nothing more then her pov of saving and not the truly the pov of the one about to be saved. Sad that the old man went down in the fight.
