INVADING SOHH CHAMPION
My pops was gaming all my life. I used to get every system day 1 only because he wanted that shyt himself. When he took a job in NJ for a year or two he got a N64 for himself and a N64 for me and my sister so we could talk over the phone about Mario 64 levels.
This dude used to beat Super a Metroid once a month or so for me just so I could see him escape the planet, cause he always goofed around and I'd scream, "Run, daddy! It's gonna explode! Stop messing around and run daddy!"
To this day he still plays a little, but not anything too recent. Just the Mario games on the Wii. But we used to have MK and SF2 tournaments with me and my friends against him when hed come home from work sometimes. Thinkin back, I had it made. Games were like magic back then breh.
I really wish my pops would have picked up on coleco vision.
I believe my pops best friend beat him into submission on the galaxy, Atari 5200, and intellivision.
to the point, he never really played any games after that.
it is weird because he was a system programmer and analyst.
I think kojo beat him so bad, he just said fukk video games sometime around football on the 5200.
football on the 5200, was crack.
it was limited on the graphics.
yet, you had to program all the plays and defenses.
it was pretty much where and how I learned what was going on, on the real football field.
plus, I learned to beat him in that and intellivision baseball.
I still remember the first time beating him in that, and football, and real basket ball for the first time, to this day.
