I just interviewed for a “fully” remote position with a company called Arxada. They are a chemical company. The chemicals that protect our telephone poles has an 80% chance Arxada treated the wood.

70K. The recruiter was black. She liked my military experience but wanted an excel wizard. I told her I’m not on that level but I could learn. I may double dip if offered the position. I can work two jobs at once. My current job isn’t too involving.

I can only imagine getting paid as Wifey is feeding me breakfast. I can drop the kids off on the clock. Knock down the Wife after a meeting.

I want to experience that remote life.

I just got my yearly review and was shocked to good such a good review for as much as I've slacked the last 2-3 years on this job. I've literally spent days just watching TV or playing PS5 and checking emails for like 30 minutes a day.

Damn. I’ve been coming in 4 days a week (when I apparently don’t have to according to my manager yesterday). And attending meetings at 7 PM on Tuesdays.

But the extremely rare time I sleep in on Friday… Internet issues in the office. I reply on Slack an hour later
