Honestly it can get that way if ur not maximizing your time. If u are blessed to work from home you should have another hustle going on.

Too many guys in here are worried about how to play hookie or how to be lazy at work. Figure out something to do with the free time u have, working at home can make u feel complacent if ur job is too easy

Okay since you taking shots at brehs, I'll go ahead and be honest.

I'm working 2 tech jobs from home. And yes, I still find a way to get a nap in at least once or twice a week. :umad:

And then on top of that, I'm studying security because I want to make a career pivot. I'm already planning my next move.

I didn't think this was the thread to discuss all of that so i simply talked about the feel good/be lazy days but trust and believe there's work going on over here.

In fact being able to work from home during the start of the pandemic is what gave me the time to learn coding and switch careers. I got some naps in, ngl, but mainly, I was studying day and night.

All that hard work is finally paying off.

I got a work from home date planned this week :banderas:

Just lined up a date for next week at the crib. I’ve smashed on the clock many times when I was with my ex but this is a first time with a broad coming over to my place mid-day. She said she wants to sit under my desk and service me while I finish the workday. :wow:

Blaze on the clock, shyt in my own toilet, no commute, no weird/annoying people... :ahh:

I shouldn't get my hopes up. :beli:

Hoping you get it, breh. You really can't oversell how better the work experience can be when you can do it entirely from an environment you completely control.

I'm going to florida tomorrow to meet my lady who's out there on a business trip. I don't even have to burn any PTO, and the hotel and rental car is paid for by her job :blessed:

I wanna get in on remote but it seem like for all of that you gotta have a degree. I gotta get my fukking degree man
industry matters a good bit as well. what field are you working in?

I'm degreed but in supply chain/logistics. maybe my location (Deep South) also plays a role but I'm struggling to find a position that allows for more than 1 day remote/week. very frustrating considering I worked remotely for about 7 months (during covid surge) without a noticeable drop in productivity.

Industry experience is enough. especially in tech. One guy I hired at my old company had no degree but bust his ass and worked his way up in the company. He eventually got a remote job elsewhere.

Nah, it's not location, it's more of an industry thing. I'm also in logistics, and it's feeling like across the industry, the general idea is that execution and general return on personnel investment was better when everyone was forced to be in the office. I went from being full remote, to being politely asked to go into the office at least once or twice a week, since I was part of a team based in a completely different state, to being moved to a local team specifically so they had all the reasons and reinforcement for doing three in office days mandatory.

You got an interview you got the job bruh. You have degree in the field?

Never done any graphic design in my life.,I can barely use a pc but I'm a quick learner... :heh:

Ask clown questions to the gawd, brehs... Yes I have a degree. I been photoshopping longer that some of these posters have been alive. I remember when you only had one undo stored in the cache so you had to save every 10 minutes and that was on 3.5" floppy disk. Yes, I have experience. :skip:

*edit*

I thought you asked if I had experience, not a degree. Sorry for the sass.

I applied for a coordinator in data subject rights position. pharmaceutical industry title.

I understand the role and can definitely do the assigned duties. Fully remote, would be perfect job for right now. Have reached out once over email and once over phone. Really hoping I get this job.
