Having to fake small talk or socialize with mfers you can't stand :scust:

Having to see the physical manifestation of nepotism, racism, and capitalism at play every day :scust:

Having to carefully and responsibly navigate the minefield that is interacting with women in the workplace (although it's missed) :scust:

Having to rush a breakfast or coffee, take a commute in rush hour traffic; having the shyts while you at work from your coffee :scust:

Being micromanaged in the office =

VS.

Texting thots and getting your dikk sucked while you at your home desk or got the laptop on your stomach :ahh:

Building your own empire from home so YOU can capitalize and commence in all the nepotism you'd like, to put your family and friends in position :ahh:

Telling women you wanna fukk during their lunch break, and them not being able to run to HR :ahh:

Waking up, rolling over and taking a shyt on the clock....doing some work, and taking another shyt if you feel like it...with the door open, blunt in hand, and music playing :ahh:

Attempted micromanaging while working from home =

All y'all that had to go back :umad:

Update: Now it's 3 days in office and 7 days telework per pay period. This really sucks. In addition we're going to be sharing cubicles now.

I have had a couple of interviews since this post. No indication if I got the job not though.

One job doesn't telework at all but it's a promotion for me so I'll still take it. The other job is a lateral and it looks like they'll have a one day a week policy of coming into the office.

And it's confirmed we're starting the day after Labor Day.

that sharing cubicles is BULLSHYT ...

my job announced new plans starting july 26. They changed the cohorts from 4 groups to 2.. and its every other week in the office. previously with the 4 cohort it was 1 week a month

me and my father had a little discussion about this last week

he was like i think it would be better for you to be in the office..im like why?..he was like so you can meet more ppl and they know who you are..im like im working on projects that are visible to a lot of higher ups...then hes like its not healthy to work at home all the time..im like i can easily step away from my desk to do other things or take a break at any time...then i flipped it on him and im like you should stay home more..my dad did not want to hear that...he's very extroverted in nature...i told him i saved a lot of money on gas, on parking, on taking the train...no dry cleaning bills..and i didnt have to leave early in the morning and come back when its dark..yet even after i told him that he still was stubborn about that...generational thing i guess lol

Yeah old heads are all about logic and making sound, responsible decisions, until the logic and sound, responsible decisions YOU bring up go against how they were raised, or make them feel invalidated because of all the work they had to put in to become "a man".

Honestly, there's got to also be a tinge of jealousy from the older generation about not being able to grow up in an environment where technology, social progress, and a pandemic has allowed more people than ever to work from home comfortably.

Imagine talking to your son 25 years from now, telling him that you think he should have a "real" job because it builds character, but this nikka making a livable wage off of UBI alone, is fulfilled outside of that with his hobbies, his own small business, and the UBI and his side income cover his expenses for his rent, food, clothes, and hovering vechicle...

And you trying to tell this nikka he needs to get a "traditional" job and just work from home for some company somewhere. Then you tell him your struggle from working fast food, to college, the degree, getting into corporate America, then working from home, and then the little nikka looks at you like, :picard:

I'd be ready to throw hands :mjlol:

There's both PROS and CONS to working in the office.
Most of management and people wanting to move up will prefer the office so they can "be seen".. and being seen increases the chances of moving up..

other than that... i dont care to go back

If you going to be in office a week long every other week then that's enough time to have your own space. Yeah it's bullshyt.

We were advised we are WFH until further notice. They haven’t even thought about what to do with our department. I pray that’s a good thing.

we can go back but its optional and they cleaning out desks and shyt this week. I'mma just say I have a compromised household or some shyt. I see no reason to go back. Only thing that will change is that I'll have to figure out how to look busy foro 7 hours.

I’m loving it. I only go into the office 5 days out of the month. And they’re planning to continue giving us WFH days once things normalize.
