Job talking everybody back full time on Monday....

Bout to use this vacation time to decide if im out or not, Hard lean about 80% that way. Make more in my business anyway :manny:

man, there are so many job openings that if you decide you don't wanna work in the office, u can easily find another remote position. and u can expand your job search nationwide given that.

Hybrid 3 says out the week and the office morale is the lowest it has ever been. Nobody speaking in meetings, people coming in late.

This company just lost everyone because they want to micromanage.

The wifi here is shyttier and slower than my one at home :hhh:

Back on the train and though it's not as crowded, it's still delays and more homeless people and nutjobs

Having to take a shi* here instead of the comfort of my own place:sadcam:

I'll be surprised if the full staff is here end of the summer

September marks a month and a half or 18 months since everyone was sent home in March 2020.

My company is saying September too.

That hybrid is gonna slowly turn to fully back in the office.

I'm not excited at all, especially because what I do at home I probably won't be doing in the office, the commute sucks ass, and working from home is just where it's at.

If they try and make me take the vaxx, I'm definitely leaving though.

Our Executive Director is being pretty mindful. We have teams where the director doesn't wanna come in the office. And another team where the director wants everyone in the office full time every day.

My director is plenty flexible. Before COVID, he was in the office probably half the time anyway because he traveled so much... plus he has kids so he'd work remote on select days especially during the summer.

I'm thinking I'm gonna be in about 2-3 days a week. I'm leaning towards Tuesday-Thursday.

I might have dodged a bullet.

Prior to the Rona, my workplace had been moving toward centralized teams to streamline our work process, which in turn would reduce need to have everyone who works on one team be in the same place.

As a result, I got moved from my original team to one that specializes in Operations. The company as a whole has said that we're going hybrid when we come back next month, but what that means will depend on roles/departments and whatnot. They've told us on our team that it's going to be a two or three days per week thing, and they're taking inventory of who has what to make sure everybody's set up to work seamlessly from home.

My old team, though? They told them they need to come in sometime before next month for a test run. They're starting the first week with two days a week, then two weeks later it's three, and four by the middle of August. They legit might be back in the office for real by Labor Day.

Here's hoping nobody in my neck of the woods gets any dumb ideas.

Another time I fell asleep and missed a Skype meeting and I told my manager that someone pulled the fire alarm in my building so I had step outside for a while :mjlol:

The proposal is work 1 day in the office, 4 days at home. Suppose to start after labor day so September 10th.

I'm cool with that but the thing is I still want to leave the organization. I got passed over for a promotion before and during the pandemic...three times.

I really don't want to look at these people, even one day a week. Put in for some jobs and one emailed me. Waiting to hear back to schedule an interview. I hope it's over the phone or at least through zoom or teams.

We have a return to office date of September

I been going in the office once a month to meet new team members in person

But there’s gonna be a hybrid setup it seems

September marks a month and a half or 18 months since everyone was sent home in March 2020.

My company is saying September too.

That hybrid is gonna slowly turn to fully back in the office.

If they try and make me take the vaxx, I'm definitely leaving though.
starting after labor day weekend, they are going to pilot a hybrid model based off job responsibilities

4 days remote
2 days remote
in the office every day

next month i have the conversation with my manager on what i prefer...personally i dont mind going in the office 1 day out of the week as long as its flexible on what day i choose
Yep...September. I'm conflicted cause I really don't want to work for this agency anymore. If I'm interviewed with this new agency and get the job (lateral position) they are a lot closer to me as far as drive time.

But I hope they have a similar 1 day a week in office policy. If not, permanently at home.

Also, for us (federal employees) they are not suppose to ask us:
