Usually the ones who pull the strings and give the specific, green light type answers are often out of reach , especially in person in larger corporations . If you able to access those person(s) pre pandemic , then to your organization . But hope it gets better homie .There's chat/teams/conferences too but it's like the pointpeople for certain things are not always the ones with the right info.
This leads to frustration that I know could be resolved way faster in person. To be great at my job sometimes involve following up on nonverbals like someone is forcing this guy to do this or he's not really sure of what he's doing and then adjusting quickly. The way someone answers gives alot of context.
I'm honestly just venting at this point. I still like working remotely but it has its cons which are really minor compared to the PROs lol
