There needs to be an honest convo about beating off while having a live-in gf, because we all do it. My woman found out and got sad/upset one time. Since then I do it in secrecy

I have mixed feelings about working from home ALL THE TIME. Havin the option to do it 2-3 times a week is the perfect situation imo. I had that before.

WFH and not being able to go anywhere is prison. My office situation at the crib isn't the best either. But the flexibility is dope. I'm starting to pivot towards chilling during the day and answering emails while actually grinding at night because I'm a night person.

Yep I always make sure my performance matches the same to when I was in the office. The boss keeps telling me I'm out performing I be like but at the same time

12:00 clock out for lunch
12:30 login from lunch but doesn't work until 1
1:00 this is a must for me 1 hour of The Division 2

there's people who take liberties because they are actually good at their jobs, reliable n deliver.

Then there's people who just take liberties because they are unmotivated, undisciplined and lack focus.

Both type of workers are in here sharing experiences. Both won't make it. Some people think they hit a lick but their inefficiency and inability to be self accountable is why they needed managers and oversight plus the office structure.

The field will correct itself and dead weight will be cut loose. One thing I never do is get comfortable.

I actually work longer more now that I’m at home. Outside of that my performance is still exceptional and my accuracy is 100% for over a year. I even offer to help out with other projects and I’m basically my departments liaison for other departments. My management team was aware when I came over that I would have a lot of idle time which is why I always offer to help. Even with me helping and the fact that I’ve pretty much mastered my job at this point, it doesn’t take me long to complete task. I feel you about getting comfortable but if I get let go it would have nothing to do with my performance or working from home.

My garden got so much more attention this summer. I got so much stuff done around the house. I’m saving money on commuting, so I’ve been ordering lunch, including $18 sushi rolls. Sometimes I work in bed.

I rarely have to iron clothes.

I can take afternoon naps as long as my email alerts are on to wake me up.

I can’t wait until it starts snowing, just so I can enjoy not cleaning off my car.


They had the audacity to ask if I wanted to come back to the office for three days.

This WFH is the lizk right now. My agency including my director is pushing WFH as the new norm.

That stressful 9-5 plus commute is dated especially if you’re in the tech field.

If you have a job that isn't strict on the timeframe and you're just paid by results (no clock in/out) this is fukking gold.

My projects are always done on time and happy clients all around. I am salaried, so no kronos swipes for me...

I’ve been working from home since March and honestly I can say I’ve been a slacker a lot, lol.

It's the greatest thing of all time.

My job starts at 7:00. I usually roll out of bed around 7:15, log on and masturbate till 8. Shower and groom from 8 - 8:30. Smoke weed, check stocks and emails and surf the coli from 8:30-10. Start working around 10. Take a break at 11. Lunch at 12. Do some more work from 1-2. By 2:00, anything I was going to get done that day better have gotten done because I'm unofficially off the clock by 2. I just play League of Legends and drink tequila and smoke weed till 4, then shut my laptop screen.

I love my job.
