Man before the daycare opened up and the gym, i was strolling out of bed at 8:58. Logging into my work Station. And get coffee, wifey making breakfast, feeding my daughter.

i wouldnt start working until like 10:30. Life was sweet.

now i still work from home but i go to the gym at 6 and take my kids to daycare by 8.

last week, it was a bit cooler outside and windy, like perfect fall time weather,

I woke up and checked my emails, and went for a walk around this beautiful park area

Breh the way the breeze was hittin me, while thinking about how I'm gettin paid GOOD money while leisurely walking and planning all the non work shyt i'm gonna get into later on in the day just made me feel like



Me and my wife been able to just have breakfast on our balcony, over looking the skyline on a breezy calm morning while conversating about life, and checking our bank accounts just to gloat and laugh at random shyt on social media. All this while Having our work laptops in front of us not really doing shyt,

I'll send a couple emails at 8am first to show I'm up and working, then go back to sleep.

Tried it, not for me you end up putting in more hours because you spend a lot of time distructed and being idle, so you compensate

It's the greatest thing of all time.

My job starts at 7:00. I usually roll out of bed around 7:15, log on and masturbate till 8. Shower and groom from 8 - 8:30. Smoke weed, check stocks and emails and surf the coli from 8:30-10. Start working around 10. Take a break at 11. Lunch at 12. Do some more work from 1-2. By 2:00, anything I was going to get done that day better have gotten done because I'm unofficially off the clock by 2. I just play League of Legends and drink tequila and smoke weed till 4, then shut my laptop screen.

I love my job.

Agree....my job is hectic at times and the only thing I can get away with is running errands during lunch and having long lunches at times. Most of times I gotta respond to emails and calls.

Or possible dealing with the prospect of dealing with a permanent paycut or else. A lot of companies aren’t going to keep paying employees the same wages if they are not traveling into the office.

There is actually a potential to get a pay increase. Paying for the office costs companies big dollars. Reducing their footprint or even removing it all together will allow the company to allocate that money better.

Think about it like this. I won't use NY or San Fran because those are just on the extreme sides

Chicago:
Average cost of office space a year per employee is $7000
Let's say the company has a decent sized building that is full of about 200 employees
That is $1.4 Million a year just on office space
Add in utilities, maintenance, and amenities and that increase the cost by who knows.
And there can be multiple locations

By reducing/removing those costs companies can put that money saved into the company itself and/or pay their employees more.

I admit that even though I have my gaming console and spare TV setup I find myself unable to work and game at the same time most of the time also.

I can only play games that I can turn my brain off and play, like Madden or 2k
