I love it. I play Terraria all day from my personal computer and do some work when needed from the company computer.

I don’t think most companies realized their employees could do their work from home until covid pushed them into that position.
I was a lucky fully remote employee at my company before the pandemic hit. I would fly out once a month to the office to 'be seen' and mingle with Co Workers etc. They made everyone local come in unless they had a reason like work travel/sick kid etc.

They were always against remote work, from the CEO on down and now its been everyone remote since March.....and everything's fine.

I think this has opened their eyes like 'yeah, they really dont HAVE to be in the office to be in the office.'

Damn now that you mention it, that is pure degenerate behavior but man am I happy.

It's funny. If you had told me when I was 17 that that's what my career would look like when I was 40, I would have thought you were full of shyt.

:blessed:

breh someone gotta win during this shyt. Might as well be us. Work getting done, bills getting paid, cheeks getting clapped and you can end your day with 4K content on 4K TV and live stress free.

I’m riding this wave like 2020 Max B.

Why you do that?

They will do a combination of all 3. Get rid of the buildings and hardware that they don't need while still reducing wages and salary. If you aren't traveling into work, then they aren't looking to pay you the same amount of money.

Can they LESSEN my taxes since I do not have to go to NJ everyday now??

:whoo:you just changed the game for me breh. I immediately updated my Skype settings with this.

I use Slack and GoToMeetings:francis: ... on a Mac

Lucky for you youre speaking to someone with a PhD in laziness. I’ll create a micro for you. It runs in excel, all it does it generates a send key command. So it simulates a keyboard click every certain number of minutes. I’ll have it set to 5min cause that’s what teams uses I think. Give me a few to get some work done () and I’ll pm it to you. All you would have to do is run that in the morning and you’re all set.

Someone rep this man:damn:
I work as a product manager at a software company. I've never really had a boss. They gave me and one other guy our own development team and had us develop a new software from scratch. As long as shyt works the corporate bosses don't bother us. As long as the software is stable the support team and customers don't bother us either so it leaves me a lot of freedom during the day.

Been trying to get a position like that. Depending on the company sometimes you need years as an engineer and heavy coding experience to build a portfolio. Most people get hooked up into that position
Work from home is :banderas: Been working from home since March.

Get up at 7:25. Make coffee
Log into work at 7:30
Play GTA online or Madden till about 9ish
Take my first mile walk outside.
Eventually get to work around 1015
At noon take another mile walk
After the walk grab some food and log out for lunch
After I log back in I will work until about 2:30
Take my last mile walk
Play madden until 4 and then log out

This is not counting going to doctors appts, etc on the clock

The biggest finesse is that I approached my job about working from home before COVID and I got a hard fast no. I asked them again two months ago and they gave me perm work from home:lolbron:

Now I’m moving out of state at the end of the month :mjlol:
What's your position thse days?
