Man of Steel is the most underrated superhero movie of all time.

Well?

  • It is, it is a great movie.

  • Nope, it sucks (I only watched it once)

now u know killmonger was a better villain in every fukking way, stop this

I get it and im used to it but it was still his dumbest death in live action history. I would've rather him died from a heart attack on the farm like in the novel than the way they did it in this. Whoever gave the greenlight for that scene should have the taste slapped out their mouth
I get what they were trying to do but the way they shot it was pretty bad.

The fight was in the place. How come Christopher Reeve can both fight Zod and save people and Henry Cavill can't?
Superman you see in Superman 2 not only has a better grasp of his powers, but has way more experience on being a hero. In Man of Steel he is a day one novice going against a military general.

You guys can do whatever you want. I just find it a waste of time to bytch and nitpick about things "I don't like" :mjlol:
They are really doing reruns of Peter Griffin’s “You Know What Really Grinds My Gears...Appreciation threads on Man of Steel”

Oh I can accept it. It's the crowd that dislikes it that has a huge problem when the thread pops up on the first page. I don't go into any other comic book film thread nitpicking, but as soon as man of steel is brought up?

But but but supes is not supposed to do this or that...shyt is wild. Many claim they don't even care about the character, but all the bytching they do about this movie proves otherwise.

I personally find it mind boggling with all the comic films being released that we don't get a sequel to the best superman movie ever made. shyt is crazy IMO so I decided to post. Simple as that :yeshrug:

I feel you my G.... and the key thing you said is YOU don’t go into other CBM threads but trust.... it’s not the same all around on either side. Neither for some of the peeps co-signing and dapping you. :usure:

MOS ain’t the only one that nitpicked

I think it comes down to this..... we grew accustomed to a certain thing and when it’s altered for the sake of being altered and not for a reason that makes practical sense..... naturally people will get pissed

I’m with you on how fukked up this is that MOS don’t have a sequel on the horizon.... hell I think they should’ve gave Green Lantern another shot too (learn from your mistakes and improve in the next one) but it is what it is.

But don’t take it or believe it’s soley “one group” of people that have issues with this movie

More experience?

Superman from Sup 1 to Sup 2 more or less went from being a environmentalalist to warrior in a matter of days.

Superman had the luxury of powers in 1 and didn’t really have the need to throw one punch. Time line wise Sup2 didn’t take place too much longer afterwards so General Zod was essentially his 2nd fight and first with powers (remember his first fight he got his ass whooped by that truck driver).

So I wouldn’t exactly call him this supreme experience super soldier hero

Oh he came at the subject from a whole other angle? Gotcha.
Glad I could clear that up for ya. So this franchise is pretty much dead though right? Didnt they fire Snyder? Damn shame this never got a real sequel. Oh well bring on Aquabro.

Dude upped his own thread but we're doing reruns? Wow, OK.
And? What in his post provoked you to bring that stanning mess in here?

The whole film industry should be ashamed of themselves for not following up on this almost 5 year old classic.

The symbol of hope is exactly what we need considering our last presidential election...

I brought the stanning mess? :snoop:
It's 'the whole film industry should be ashamed'?:dahell: What's that even mean? :mindblown:
'classic' in 5 years? :comeon: Who thinks that but stans? :why:
and
'symbol of hope'? I disagreed, his symbolism is no longer needed and brought up someone else.:gucci:

So liking a movie and wanting a sequel is stanning to you?
Calling Superman a "symbol of hope" is stanning, now?

And not you coming in with
Classic?! :mjlol:

And the hero you are talking about is called Captain America.

:usure:

We all know your game so no need trying to change it up. All that stan crap is annoying and it derails topics when we all know we can't have a meaningful conversation because you got an agenda.
