It's been a long slow climb, but this is proof that people who are giving these films a second chance are really coming around. Same thing with Dawn of Justice actually, but MoS is clearly the superior film here. You factor in that many were rating it a 1 because of all the negative hype both of these movies received upon release and the true approval numbers should be somewhere in the 8 to 8.5 range across the board.

Similar rise to how people feel about that movie and this one actually. I just did a quick check on the Watchmen ratings and now 60% rate the movie 8/10 or better for an overall rating of 7.6 on IMDB. It was getting blasted upon release by many people in the past, 8K - 1 star reviews

Nope, don't try to spin that on me. I am showing how the film is now closer to what is likely it's fair overall rating. Don't you find it odd that there is such a huge disparity in overall review scores compared to how they were upon release? Do you really think that MoS is a 4/10 movie?
Come on breh, let's try to be objective here. What other explanation is there to account for a 30-35% rise in terms of overall viewer satisfaction? How does a movie jump from poor/mediocre to good/great with the same exact material? This isn't a video game where DLC/Patches add to the experience. It's the same damn film and all of a sudden it's a good movie? That shyt doesn't even make sense lol.

You basically have no answer to counter what I said. You proved my point, there is no way a movie is a 4/10 upon release and jumps to a 8/10 in the minds of many.
I bring it up because it IS a big deal to companies and is a contributing factor if movies/tv shows get a sequel.

Man, Man of Steel was lit. A fresh take on the Superman character after the failure that was Superman Returns. Still the best fight scenes and some of the best cinematography in a comic book movie. Zod was a great villain too, far from a pushover, far from comedic.. he was a 3D character, had some valid points. it was well acted also.

actually he had some of the worst villain motivations in history. the planet is literally about to explode and he still wants to start an uprising instead of getting the fukk off the planet. even russel crowe was like
"there's not gonna be anything left to rule dummy"and then finally when he lands on earth and realizes he has god-like powers, he would rather turn earth into krypton... which means he would lose his powers.
