Yea I can't lie that was kind of fukkked up but Earth was all he knew and loved and Zod and the Ginyu Force were trying to wipe it out. I hate that he killed Zod and wish he would've thrown him back in the Phantom Zone.

But Superman should have asked him why take over?! you have 9 other planets and a terraforming machine... You COULD go somewhere else. man after his first flight that "coming to age" or realizing who he was shyt shld have made to whole movie tone shift. now we go more brighter and vivid, you had a damn scene about him symbolizing hope thats classic superman he dnt need to be a dweeb like reeves to make that wrk. loose the depressed background that they had with emo clark and all that previous stuff, go full hero from then on. keep everything the same minus the retarded kissing louis in the crater or whatever and just a few hero scenes in the city wld have been good (yes he's saving people througout the film, and is still a rookie as shown in the smallville fight but cmon). Have him inspire the people in the city to not give up n help each other sum shyt. i guess my problem is the lack of showing or heck setting up the supes character (bvs is even worse geez). still a dope film and until i see WW its dc best by far

agreed. I've seen super nerdy dudes talk about it was shytty. To me, they got it right with MOS. The fight scenes were dope and actually showed off that speed aspect of Kryptonions and not just cheesy flight and feats of strength.

This movie was trash, plain and simple. Synder is a hack and most of his movies suck ass, Dawn of the Dead is his only good one and that's passable at best.

- Zero humor in the movie, and when they attempted a funny line, it fell flat and was horribly out of place.
- Characters were written terribly, especially ones like Perry and the other Daily Planet people.
- First 50-60 minutes were so boring and bland until he got the suit on.
- Krypton parts were okay but tried to be epic and came off as forced and cringey.
- CGI is awful, way too overdone and looks horribly cartooney for the most part.
- Action was over the top and bland, just people smashing into things and no one even getting a messed up haircut.
- Zod and Superman practically nuking each other and they're not even scratched, and people wonder why Superman is boring?
- Flashbacks were boring and his Dad's death was funny more than anything.
- Story was incredibly basic and failed to hold my interest.
- Script was terribly written, Goyer is a hack without Nolan.
- Cavill was so wooden, not sure whether it was the writing or the acting but fukking Terminator had more emotion/personality than this guy.
- I love Zimmer da GAWD but his score here wasn't very good, well it was a good score, but didn't suit this movie imo.
- Movie is so fukking colorless, like there is zero color. Compare Dark Knight to this and there is just no color, just bland.

I haven't seen it for a while but these are off top of my head. Underrated? GTFO

i sometimes wonder if these geeks truely dislike the things they claim to or just wait for popular opinion of reviewers. as someone who didnt care much for the character before, the only good superman movie to me. saw it in theaters twice.
