That shocked me. Superman killed the 2nd to last krytonian. i'm torn on it but what a great scene and buildup for it.

Lex doesnt go head to head with superman, so that argument is moot. If you wanna see how luthor would be well portrayed even as a PHYSICAL equal to supes, watch all star superman on netflix, or real lex luthor mann of steel.


Luthor is GOAT, and he is RIGHT, as THIS movie proved.

With the success of this movie and the strength of the overseas market, I think it's only a matter of time before the Greatest action Animes (Fist of the North Star/Dragon Ball Z) are made into proper live action films. I can't wait.

How the fukk does Lois Lane not only figure out who Superman is within the first half of the movie but also screams the name Clark NUMEROUS TIMES in front of other people AND the fukking military.

IN KANSAS??? Really???? Do these directors know what the fukk a Superhero is???

This is just like Transformers. nikkas saw shyt blow up with a character they liked and were content spending money on it. The action was good but the plot was pure stupidity. And don't use the comic book excuse because we are in a post Batman/Iron Man world

its the closest ive seen a movie come to looking feeling and playing out like an actual graphic novel since sin city. just about every shot looked like something youd see drawn in a comic, and the abrupt transitions between scenes totally felt like moving from square to square. also every bit of the dialogue was deliberately comic book cheesy. i love this presentation

i appreciate the alien angle and the fresh origin story over all.
story wise the only problem i had was lois lanes level of involvement

the fight scenes though? im one who thought the fight scene from superman 2 would never be topped but shyt...the zod fight was cool but the fight with the 2 lackeys?

if you ever enjoyed a comic book in your life you need to see this. ive read some of the negative reviews i pretty sure they all missed the point. its a comic book

Yeah, its a different cannon. Lex's experiment went wrong and Supes saved him but his efforts made him go bald. He hated supes ever since.
