where the hell do you live where superman will be empty at 9am, i remember seeing avengers at 9am and the theater was packed like it was 9pm. I just checked online to see what available seating is left at the showing im going to its jam packed except for the first 2 rows. Im glad i got my tickets like 9 days ago and im glad the theater doesnt reserved seating, cant wait until saturday just one more day

Silicon Valley breh. Hella theaters out here and its 9am on a friday. Most people are still working. Used up most of this giftcard for the XD 3D showing... $14 1st showing matinee. Its about 15 people n this largest theater 2min before the movie starts. Ive grown too use to watching blockbusters in empty theaters...

I wasn't feelin Sucker Punch, but I loved Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen, and 300. It ain't like Snyder is M Night Shamyflop :manny:

Snyder did a damn good job with Man of Steel.
Same with me. Dawn of the Dead is my fav horror remake, I loved The Watchmen and 300 was sick. Yet, go look at the scores on RT for those movies, 300 is barely 60%, Dawn of the Dead is his highest rated at 75% and watchmen is at 63%.

Man of Steel is only 3 good reviews away from a fresh rating.

I don't think it's going to get it though. :shaq2:

Man of Steel is great! Critics fail again. Possibly the best Superman Flick ever...

Snyder did a damn good job with Man of Steel.

"Sixth Sense" is better than any Snyder film and "Unbreakable" is a better dark comicbook/superhero movie than "The Watchmen". But the critics do unfairly hate on Synder. They think he's all visual and lacks storytelling. Basically Snyder, Michael Bay and M. Knight are the three critic whipping boys yet audiences will line up to see their next film.

DotD should probably be higher. One of the better horror flicks of the last decade.

300 and Watchmen are fair IMO. I think Zach Snyder action scenes have always been a little tedious.

I thought it was really good. It didn't need 3D, but I liked the approach they took with the origin story and I liked how they went back and forth with Clark growing up then going to present day. I think Henry Cavill did a great job as Superman. Much different than Reeve or Routh. The Krypton opening scenes were amazing and it was dope to find out about the history of the planet.

I was genuinely satisfied with this Superman and will definitely see the sequel.

BTW...

Did anyone else notice the Lexcorp truck in the city? :krs:

Yes!! and did u notice
the satellite Zod destroyed had Wayne Enterprises on it
