This is starting to look like a "hood classic".

Panned by the critics, but loved by the everyday, common folk.

I'm getting that Transformers 1 vibe.I remember looking at the tomatometer when that shyt first dropped and thinking "Man they fukked up:snoop:"

So I wasn't in a rush to go see it.

But everybody I was running into who had seen that shyt was on some:krs::win:....."sickest shyt I ever seen:wow::ohlawd:" type steeze

The final person I wanted to hear from was my brother. That nikka is goat at finding "technically bad, but fun" movies. He just has a sixth sense for it.

Once he told me "It's dope, mayne" I knew i had to catch that flick.

Glad I did. Some movies are dope just for the sheer spectacle...Transformers was one of those movies(the next 2 was:gag:..can't deny it).I loved the first one.

That's a modern "technically bad, but fun/ hood classic" IMO

I'm getting that vibe from MOS.Dope CGI and watching heads roll.....That's the state of mind I'm taking with me when I go see this shyt tomorrow
THIS x a milli

Just got back. 8.5/10. Just a crazy fukking movie with intense action. One of my favorite comic book movies of all time with easily the best action. There will be great things coming in the future with this iteration of Supes

Those RT reviews are coming from old & flabby critics who grew up on Donner's Superman.

Pay them no mind.

Synder's Superman was created for the young men raised off the Justice League cartoon & Superman: Animated Series.

Too much action?

TOO MUCH ACTION!?

this is exactly what I want in these types of films

I'd honestly wouldn't care if it was just 2 hours worth of action piff and no dialogue

:salute:

That's what I'm talking about. fukk all that uneccassry back story and him dealing with his demons, save that for a TV show..

Noe thats hoe you make a Superman movie! When you make a superhero movie from now on, it better be like that!

Shyt was piff brehs. Solid 8.5/8.75. Action movie of the year.

The subtle refrences to the DC world

The action

Finally had the comic book like cartoon fight scenes.

This being a Sci-Fi film surprised me the most. Sure, he's alien, sorta like Thor. But Thor to me didn't feel like "Sci-Fi" film. The dark feel reminded me of mixture of Matrix mixed with Star Wars film.

It's no question these critics are turned off by the Christian theme (conspiracy theory). I mean, heck, they did the "crucifix" theme twice
The less obvious one was when he was getting picked on at school and he was holding on to the gate. His arms were stretched like he was crucified

To me, this is Batman Begins level. Better the Amazing Spiderman when it comes to reboot films. Not a classic but solid. Action wise, the way they were throwing each other around reminded me of "Chronicle". Anybody else get that Chronicle feel?

This movie was awesome. Sure it lagged a bit with the 12 billion flashbacks to Clark Kent's formative years and Pa Kent was a bit of a dipshyt but aside from that I loved everything else about the movie.
I officially put it as the best Superman movie to ever hit the big screen and the best comic book movie to come out this year (sorry Iron Man 3).
