my favorite low key part was when supes was locked down on the bed in zod's ship then he got his powers back and rose up out the chair and looked at the guard like u better run now

His swag was on another level in that scene...my theater went crazy when he rose up..the way he looked at the guard had me dying....

I wish DC didn't screw up Green Lantern. Imagine if they had gone from a piff Batman trilogy to a piff GL movie to Man of Steel?

That would be one amazing run of films.

I liked the fights and the effects were cool but this movie is a mess Superman is a introverted soft spoken mute. The flashbacks were not only pointless but were out of place. The editing from scene to scene is noticeably bad. The way to storyline is structure reminds of TDKR, parts should be switched around/pushed towards the end of the film. And that Jesus motif about him not doing shyt for 30 years fukking annoying. That Daily Planet shyt was a waste of film because it went nowhere. And instantly learns how to fly after putting on the suit Superman Returns did the origin better.

Not to mention how Superman gave Metro and the hick town the Angel Grove treatment. This nikka said "Stay inside folks" than proceeds to to throw nikkas into buildings in shyt He killed so many folks Had the nerve to end this movie with this a$$hole smiling

The first half is garbage, the last half is great. That Faeora German chick would get the D....kind of wanted her to kill everybody

I've only seen the movie once but the nikkas on CBR have seen the film like 3-4 times a piece. They have a detailed account of what happened during the Superman/Zod fight. Zod threw Superman through some buildings. Superman only threw Zod into one building and it was abandoned.

Finally saw this damn movie....I liked it. Very respectful of the source material, a couple changes. But I could understand why Superman is not very talkative, look at all the shyt he had to do just to coexist with weak humans. He had to watch his punk ass human father die because (his father) didn't want him to be exposed. He really didn't smile until he started to fly (subliminal messaging). And of course the Jesus comparisons. Since Superman was modeled after Jesus and the Messiah Myths. But hey it was a good movie.

I liked that the movie put people in fukking danger. In the Avengers when the invasion happened it was just really a light show. Zod was trying to kill people and those fights...they didn't a fukk about humans what so ever. Superman had to break his neck!!! No damn choice! But Zod was doing what he thought was right, not for evil but for his people. A different type of villain. So I enjoyed the non-campy typical give Superman human emotions bullshyt. Dude is basically a God, time for him to start acting like it. Kiss that bytch after you save her life! That's what you are supposed to do. Knock that drone out of the sky! (No spying on me nikka!! Trust I won't destroy the planet, I'm from Kansas!!)

Yeah, this Supes was reckless as fukk but I kinda expected that from a Clark that hasn't fully developed emotionally and mentally to Superman.

It was like they tried to cram to much into one movie. They way they did Superman was kind of a turnoff. They actually made the villians better than Superman.

I don't understand these critics on RT saying they didn't like the movie because it "strayed too far" from Christopher Reeve.

That's like bytching about Dark Knight not being campy and "straying too far" from Adam West.

Chris Reeve and Adam West's shyt was when I was a kid but damn it's been like 30 or 40 years for them 2. Time for a change
