If they're looking at the big picture, they should let Lex and Metallo be the villains of the next movie... with Doomsday naturally appearing at the end after Lex and Metallo are defeated. Doomsday kills Superman at the end of the movie. The Justice League movie should soon follow where a team is formed to attempt to stop Doomsday and that's when Superman returns. The third Superman movie should then feature Brainiac, as its revealed that he's been on Earth as long as Kal El's ship.

The 2nd JL movie should feature Darkseid. In between the 3rd and 2nd JL movies, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern should get stand alone films.

Things I learned from watching Man of Steel: Superman does not give a fukk about property owned by billion dollar corporations (a Wayne Industries satellite and a Lex Corp tanker truck both get destroyed during the epic final battle).

The promos can be a refresher for the origins of the justice league members it'll be very simple . People are going to see a movie with batman/superman . It's all about marketing , casting first start with dark knight style promos of just each members symbol and then saying a quote from the movie or a line summing them up

Naw that don't all need standalone movies . People know who these characters , that's the difference ironman, Thor captain America aren't as iconic . Superman and batman teaming up is a guaranteed hit and throw in Wonder Woman , flash ??? The world going to see that
