I was never that big on Chris Rock either he's funny and all Bigger and Blacker and Bring the Pain were great but I never thought it was even close between him and Dave Chapelle. I've seen alot of standups in my life a lot and Killin Them Softly is in my top 3 all time. His bit on Seasame Street made me lose breath laughing 1st time I seen it.

Dude is one of the best ever. He's naturally funny and you can't teach or learn that.

IMO, Chris Rock is so overrated it's crazy. His comedy is so forced and contrived that I can sit through it and not crack one smile. "That's right," said ad nauseum isn't funny. He's actually irritating to me. I don't know if Chapelle is the goat; that's such a subjective thing. I do think Killing 'em softly and FWIW are absolutely brilliant, though. I also think that he's easily more talented and funnier than Chris Rock by a vast margin.

I tend to agree. The way Chris Rock looks at the world is his biggest strength. He has the rare ability to make the crowd go and then

Rock admits he wasn't one of those kids who was just naturally funny and everyone thought he would be a comedian. He was just a quiet shy kid who looked at the world differently. Chappelle on the other hand is just naturally funny.

He's in the same tier as Katt Williams,patrice Oneal,Mike Epps,Corey Holcomb...and i actually find most of these nikkas funnier than Dave Chapelle even tho Chapelle has that naturally funny delivery like Chris Tucker had...but outside of that I've laughed a lot harder listening to these dudes.
