Palmetto are a bit different then your average reach. Palmetto's dont spread anywhere near as fast and unusually run 1 deep. They are more likely to randomly sneak in your place then to infest it. They also come out at all times of the day.

that's an a/c unit that is placed in the window. So instead of having central a/c and a thermostat, older houses/apts didn't come equipped with that; there's a unit (like the size and shape of a microwave that is installed in the window in order for cool air to filter throughout the house)

They don’t really bother me. I see them, and kill em. It’s been raining a lot lately, so they been around. Once they get in the house, they don’t last too long anyways.
