I love it.

Thanks. Sorry for being vague. At a wedding so I get the link.

I got you. I'll post all of his quotes:

“This is a new beginning for me in my life. Although I'm back with the Knicks, for me it's a new opportunity for the team and for the city.

Sentiment I feel right now is similar to how I felt when I was chosen in the NBA. I am eager to wear that uniform again.

I think they've made some solid moves that impact the team. Management has done a good job of trying to square a team, not as far as going to get big names but players that fit within the system.

I do not expect to win a championship this year. That's something that takes time and everything has to be in sync, from management to players. We have much work to do, but it's something that drives me. I know we can start creating the foundation of what we do. It's the start of a good process. Next year we will have enough money to spend within the salary cap. But this year it is important to take the necessary steps towards the next year. I want to concentrate on building from this year.

Since I signed, the first thing he [Coach Fish] did was give me the book with the Triangle offense system for me to learn it.

It's a rookie leader but a very respected person. His knowledge of the game goes beyond what people think. And he's been a good leader since his freshman year. I talk to him all the time. And he is so excited to start; as am I. Usually you do not see leaders who care about you, calling you to see what you need, and he has started a good relationship with me in that sense. I think our relationship will be very positive.

I'd love to play here [Puerto Rico]. I have not seen the preseason schedule, but if I could force a game to be here, in the near future, I would sit with the Knicks to come up with a game to Puerto Rico. I want to come here to the island for a couple of weeks with several players to develop good fellowship before our training camp. [The Knicks can not do it legally (as an institution)], but I can do it on my own and bring several players to Puerto Rico to enjoy a few days together.”

He said even more in the video, which (unlike the text at this link) is in English) → http://www.primerahora.com/deportes/baloncesto/nota/emocionadocarmeloanthonyconsusknicks-1027455/

How are they going to find a way win those games when you have less legit talent and less experience on this roster? How do some of y'all arrive to that conclusion? Derrek Fisher(a new coach)? the triangle(new system)? Phil Jackson doing jedi mind tricks? Melo somehow turning into LeBron James?

The passion to worship Lj really is a sight to behold :wow:. He's never been the centerpiece on a contender. He's only jumped on stacked teams; and has played like he's 3ft tall 4 out of the 5 times he's been to the Finals; even on stacked teams. He's also missed the Playoffs more times than 'Melo, despite the fact that 'Melo was in a brutal West for most of his career. I hate to post photos with cursing in them, but here's your “king” in a nutshell:

Moreover, this is one of the most intellectually dishonest posts I've seen in a while. New coach? Is this new coach by himself? Wasn't the G.O.A.T. coach dropping in on practices to help him? Is Rambis there? Are they gonna build a coaching staff? Didn't this new coach get some of the most underdeveloped players who had only been together for a week to jell, play defense (pressure defense at that), and thrive in a completely foreign system in a matter of days? Steve Kerr sure didn't.

Speaking of the new system, what about it? Is Derek the only one who knows it? Does Phil and Rambis know it? Don't the players from Summer League have a head start going into Camp?

Phil Jackson doing jedi mind tricks? Statements like that show a clear agenda. :scusthov: Now, Phil's 13 rings mean nothing? I doubt you'd say that if Pop took over the Spur's front office. Derek's 5 rings mean nothing? Now, championship experience is meaningless? Even your “king” knows better than that; he recently said as much at the 0:40 mark of this video:

Would this team be able to beat Cleveland in seven games? A healthy Bulls team? The answers to both of these questions is a very resounding no. So you're once again looking forward to a second round exit. :blessed:.Also the Knicks had capspace in 2010 and ended up with Amare and Felton. :scusthov:

But looking forward to losing in the 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs is a winners mentality. :dwillhuh:
Dirty d I been saying the same thing but my fellow knickers don't wanna hear it. I don't think people realize how hard it is to win 4 playoff rounds.

Real talk you are one of the dumbest posters on this site and that's saying a lot

I'm not even a bron fan but for you to argue that melo is greater than lebron is why people question Knicks fans

You just equated b-ball knowledge with overall knowledge, so you're in no position to call anyone dumb. 2ndly, I guarantee you I'll Posterize you in a debate on this and I don't even have to be disrespectful to do so. If interested, disproving anything I said in my post would be a great place to start.

Let me tell you something else about your king. Lj is a punk! I love him and I think he's a sweetheart, but he is a punk! He should have went down shooting like 'Melo did with 1 arm against Indy in last season's semi-finals. The way KD did last season against the Grizz (yeah, he went down shooting poorly, but he didn't just stand there and watch his team lose). Lj had Tony shooting poorly all game long (because Lj is much taller than Tony and because Tony was injured again) until the very end of the 3rd quarter. When that time came, Tony took Lj 1-on-1, despite Lj's size and despite Tony's injury. This lasted through all of the 4th quarter. At these critical times, when it was time to put Miami away, Tony didn't care how big Lj was and he didn't care about his own injury that he was suffering.

Tony scored 14 pts in that quarter! He did the same thing in last season's Finals and that's why Pop took him out because Stern rigged it. Tony has heart. Lj should've had the same attitude against Kawhi that Tony had against Lj. Since he can't shoot, he should have kept going to the rack; he'll get the calls because he's the face of the league. What kind of B-ball I.Q. is it to keep looking for the pass when none of your teammates can make a shot? He can shoot the ball 33 times when he wants to be like 'Melo (click here to read him saying just that) and when he wants to be like Rondo in a rigged performance that was set up to make him look like the hero (Doc said as much about his 45pt game against 89 year old Pierce in the 2012 ECF).

And look here, 'Melo would have never gotten punked by Kawhi because 'Melo can shoot. Last season (not referring to this past season), Pop wouldn't even put Kawhi on 'Melo. Pop resolved to double him and the Spurs still lost the game. This past season, Kawhi couldn't stop 'Melo. He certainly wouldn't get punked by players half his size like Lj did against Terry, Kidd, Barea, etc in the 2011 Finals (more on that coming up).

Lj is a punk who scored 4 pts in the 4th quarter of an elimination game and came out the game in the 4th with 6 mins to go and a 22pt deficit that was eventually cut to 16 with enough time to either win the game or make the loss much less embarrassing. He quit and sat on the bench and cried like a little girl. Bosh has more heart than him :dwillhuh: ; Bosh continued to play. Beasley was put in the game because Lj was doing nothing in that quarter. Beasely scored 9pts in the quarter! Lj's just a sissy! He flops! He's as soft as Charmin Baby tissue! He has no heart! He's a quitter! Averaging 3.6ppg in the 4th quarter of the Finals was 2011 shrinkage all over again. :pacspit: to his punkish ways! King? No! He's less than a princess :birdman:!

So, keep on worshipping Lj. I'll take guys like Jordan, Kobe, 'Melo, Parker, KD, and any other player with actual heart. I'm still down for that debate too :sas2:.
