Yo fukk all that my dude. That's a prison with no release date. My father in law should be thankful that his father recently passed, that nicca was on his last because of his wife. This nicca retires n 11 months. This idiot has already cashed n his 401k, put 25k down on a Tesla and took a paid off Benz and traded it in for a Porsche Panamera. You about to retire with a fixed income and these are the choices you make? His wife really runs the house man. Horrible decisions. If you are 65 years old you should just fukking rent and put that down payment money in the bank.
:russ: dat nikka cashed out

1900 for a wedding ring :mjlol::mjlol:and making 80K a year smh. i know cats that made 25k are year and dropped 3K on a ring and just finessed (credit) made there payments on time na dup there credit score and didn't come out broke....or just saved up the money over a year.
funny thing was, I knew this guy who was applying from when I was a bank teller, we caught this dude for kiting checks. Breh would deposit 2 checks EVERY DAY for 900$ each. that's 1800 a day, he wouldn't come on saturday so 1800x5=9000 he was kiting back and forth a week between our bank and another. Instead of pressing charges we put the amount of checks that were going to bounce into a loan for him to pay us back and he calls up asking for additional :mjlol: breh with a 500 credit score

Live in expensive azz city brehs.

Believe they are entitled to live like Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods brehs.

Think that if you "shack up" with a woman the courts won't hit you with common law marriage laws brehs (depending on where you live)

On top of that we have ignant nykkas co signing on men not being married and living in sin with a woman brehs

If you can't live confortably off 60k you're financially illiterate.

I agree with all that...

LOL, Leonardtown is a pretty quiet town. Nobody bothers you there and isn't noisy. They don't have apartments tho, he can buy a house though (he is a white, so he'll be aight)

woodbridge, I don't much about other than my dad lives out there.

There's no metro area in the country where an individual income of $125k/year is peanuts, breh. Not a single one. That's only thecoli.com talk.

As far as SF and how far 125K goes I was specifically talking about SF city not the metro area. The metro area (and especially Oakland) has become overpriced as well due to SF outflux but nowhere near the level of San Francisco.

The whole thing with higher income I would say over 100k single or 140k married is that you have enough disposable income to get you in trouble. Issues that cost money usually stack and if you do not have some savings/emergency money you can be in a bad spot real quick. Add to that easy access to credit you have a trap that a lot of people fall into. With out a constant eye on your budget and hard set investment/saving financial ruin is right around the corner for a lot of people.

Nothing can ruin a marriage quicker than money issues. If you are going to get married live with the woman/man for a while. I was say a minimum of 2 years. Figure who the person is behind the mask because if you don't it will cost you a lot of money down the road.

Shacking up before marriage is backwards bruh.

Sound Reasoning
i know its hard to grasp for a lot of people...but 120k is NOT a lot of money.....

its easy to go through....FAST....

ive made that before and i live in louisiana....

there are expensive areas no matter where you live...im sure even in wisconsin there are places with houses worth $500k+...and expensive private schools

should he be able to manage with 120k? sure theoretically...but him struggling is not uncommon....

something stands out big time to me in this thread...a lot of yall have never made a lot of money or been around people that make a lot of money....

people that stunt like they have money ironically are some of the brokest :francis:

Ok, but just because you make $120K doesn't mean you need to buy a $500K house or send your kids to expensive private schools :ld:

That's called discipline. Managing personal expectations and setting guidelines for how one moves and shakes :francis:

If you can't manage $120K, then you simply can't manage money. Just because something is available, doesn't mean you need to buy it. Because what happens when you make a million or 10 million? There's always going to be "stuff" to buy. There's always going to be ways to go through money fast. It's up to the person to manage their money as best they can.

Soon enough, we're going to have dudes on here talmbout "You know, a million dollars a year aint really much to live on" :dahell:

Knowing damn well most of those dudes who would say that aint even close to touchin a million :dame:

Peace

This! There are tons of whites who live above their means and/or have to deal with unplanned circumstances that's beyond our control.

Also, YES the system is designed for us to fail. Understanding that and resisting peer pressure to keep up the front and constantly go out to events that involve spending money and being super disciplined with our spending can offset that a bit unless we have expensive unplanned circumstances like health/dental bills, car motor blowing up/expensive car maintenance, etc.

Its like we have to live in old cheap matchbox apartments, not have cable, internet, only flip phones, not go out to eat, shop at cheap grocery stores and buy cheap food like ramen noodles, frozen chicken, frozen and canned veggies, etc., not travel and take vacays, and definitely not have any expensive habits like drinking, smoking, gambling, substances, shopping, etc. To save maximum money...u have to live like a hermit unless u had a wife who worked and make good money as well.

Or you can live in a room in a nice neighborhood for 600 per month and save like a king :ld:
