The whole thing with higher income I would say over 100k single or 140k married is that you have enough disposable income to get you in trouble. Issues that cost money usually stack and if you do not have some savings/emergency money you can be in a bad spot real quick. Add to that easy access to credit you have a trap that a lot of people fall into. With out a constant eye on your budget and hard set investment/saving financial ruin is right around the corner for a lot of people.

Nothing can ruin a marriage quicker than money issues. If you are going to get married live with the woman/man for a while. I was say a minimum of 2 years. Figure who the person is behind the mask because if you don't it will cost you a lot of money down the road.

$125k is significantly greater than the median household income, so you can certainly raise a family on it. Over half the population is doing that right now. If it feels like peanuts, then you have an expense problem. Or a warped sense of reality.
Over half the population is struggling in major metro areas. :what:

If you never lived in places like NY, Miami and Cali you won't get it. Podunk places like Arkansas and other country places you'll live like a king.

thats why u carry cash all the time. having ur card declined is something no self respecting man wants to ever happen. and u cant blame the bank cause like u said, they're looking out for u. if they see someone purchasing something in florida with ur card, but u live in arizona, AND u just purchased something in arizona within the last 1 hour or so, they have good reason to believe ur card has been jeopardized.
I always try to have at least $20.00 in cash on hand at all times.

There's no metro area in the country where an individual income of $125k/year is peanuts, breh. Not a single one. That's only thecoli.com talk.

I never said it was peanuts. I'm simply stating that if you paying child support and/or sposual support in a major metro area with taxes and COL it's a significant strain.

what is so :mindblown: about it ? do you not realize how big of a % alimony and CS will eat up, AFTER they tax your ass ? hes being taxed 35% at that salary, then has to pay all that out to his exes..... aint nothing mind boggling about that.
Not sure how much he pays for child support/alimony, but the alimony he pays can be deducted when he files his income tax. He should also have some kind of arrangement for claiming the children for income tax purposes, maybe allowing him to claim the children every other year.

But seems like despite his situation he is ok with his, otherwise he would have gotten a vasectomy to prevent additional children and or downsized out of his current home.

his exes arent going to allow him to claim the kids because they have no reason to. they can if they just want to be nice but usually its a big fukk you from most women so thats out. even if he did get the claim them the non custodial parent doesnt get the same tax breaks as the custodial. that wouldnt even help that much. he might not even be paying alimony put CS for more than one kid by two different women will destroy you. he might be taking home only 35% of what he earns.
