Not quite sure why this thread got upped by I still think I and @Dead End got it right, the visceral reaction that African-Americans feel when Gay Rights are directly compared and fully equated with the African-American struggle is justified. But to be against the rights of everyone, knowing full well that you understand discrimination better than anyone else is not justified. I'll say it time for the millionth time on here, how a discussion is framed and the way a message is delivered is an important as the goal itself. Just look at all the people who are passive and would not care in the least if gay marriage was allowed who got heated when that fight was directly equated to the struggle of AAs.
I'd also like to add that this thread should serve an example of double-standards, being racist in every other thread hurts your argument when you come into a thread like this and preach about bigotry. That should more or less summarize this thread.
That's whats up, bro. Tell these bigots how their bread is buttered.
