I asked one of the neighbors here if they were going to board up the windows, and I got a loud "NAH", he told me they used to do that in the 80s and 90s but they stopped because over time the storms wouldn't do much damage. "We would board up the entire house and nothing would happen, it was more work than necessary." Most of them even left their cars out in the driveway.

Meteorologists use the best available information to make educated guesses. They should and will continue to warn people if the risk of danger seems imminent. There’s no other alternative. A last minute shift could have resulted in the loss of way more life and property.

Also plenty of people were died and got their homes destroyed by the storm and its tornadoes. Not enough bloodlust for yall devils?
