Florida jit most of my life. Been through several Cat 5s throughout my time, the worst one was Andrew a couple years back.
This shyt got me worried, not gonna lie. When they said it's riding up I-4, I knew we were fukked.
I'm in Central Florida, we don't really get much as far as sheer destruction but flooding, power loss, etc... all of that is inevitable.
I'm glad I'm leaving this mother fukker for good soon.
Florida ain't worth the trouble no more.

Insurance as well pays for Wind Damage (Like Roof Tiles) only. I used to work in Insurance, and from their side its understandable why they wouldn't cover Flood as well (Storm Surge) because Insurance is all about Risk... there is no Risk in Storm Surge, its going to happen.
So Florida has Hurricane Insurance, in which its a Specialty Insurance but fukking expensive to have and really not worth it in the end.
