No tin hats are necessary. Its climate change. Scientists have been pleading for decades to deaf ears. And we're starting to pay for it. Politicians did next to nothing. And the general population couldn't care less. These storms will become so frequent, expensive and destructive that it'll restructure society.

Okay so here’s the thing, the unusual things about these Hurricanes are that they’re strengthening upon landfall, and it’s like every major gulf hurricane has done that, I’m not sure why but it’s been a 6-7 year trend, brown ocean effect is becoming increasingly normal.

This stuff goes in cycles though, Florida got hit by Charley, Frances, Jeanne, Ivan, Dennis, and Wilma in back to back year and then there was a decade long drought of Florida hurricanes, and now it’s busy again.

Like here in Alabama, I haven’t experienced a major Hurricane since Ivan and Dennis and again that was in 04 and 05.

Also people don't take account to people destroying the vegetation in the area for real estate that would have naturally soaked the waterfall now it has nowhere to go. There was a black breh from Houston I can't remember talking about how new development is making shyt flood worst than it should.

Shocked how real estate values didn't plummet down south due to these hurricanes.

This isn’t sustainable living for people.

The cost of insurance…hell insurance companies are just leaving :picard:

More expensive to live in FL than NY.

Being at the eye of a hurricane for 5 months out the year, nowhere to realistically run to, and insurance costs skyrocketing to Bentley monthly car payment prices, its best to stay outta the southeast.

I don’t see how they do it. We in GA and we made sure the house we bought, it’s damn near impossible for this bytch to flood.

How can you purchase a house and every fall you don’t know if it will still be there. :mjtf:

That's a good point. If you have to worry every June that your property may not be there by Nov, I don't want to own anything there. Even worse when when the population increases by a huge amount these last 15 years.
