Just got my hurricane supplies this morning. Extra food. Water. Etc. gassing up the truck this am too. Jax is expected to get a lot of rain. This storm could easily move on over to us tho

Also people don't take account to people destroying the vegetation in the area for real estate that would have naturally soaked the waterfall now it has nowhere to go. There was a black breh from Houston I can't remember talking about how new development is making shyt flood worst than it should.

I've said before how I count 10+ construction cranes from my balcony in Miami (meaning I'm also responsible for the over-development). High rises right on the coastline and the river bank. Man made artificial islands (Brickell key). Concrete and asphalt everywhere. No man groves, swamp, or natural barriers.

So now every time it rains (not hurricanes, not storms, just regular ass Florida rain) this happens:

No tin hats are necessary. Its climate change. Scientists have been pleading for decades to deaf ears. And we're starting to pay for it. Politicians did next to nothing. And the general population couldn't care less. These storms will become so frequent, expensive and destructive that it'll restructure society.
