Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I KNOW YOU CLAIM JORDAN IS THE GOAT...

BUT THE 90S SLANDER DONT MATCH UP...

PLAYING BOTH SIDES AS USUAL.

I'm slandering the teams and the type of game being played, we really gonna sit here and act like a team with John Starks as a 2nd option was great just because Jordan played them? :comeon:

I've always had Jordan as GOAT, I can detach players from their eras and think about how they'd do in the modern game. When shyt gets too off the wall, that's when I defend Jordan -
young Jordan would be the best athlete at the 2 today :russ:

Watching young Jordan for the first time on NBA TV....not that impressed

P.G. County
Golden state in 5

Steph calling for a 1-5 pnr with Draymond at the 5. Kareem coming out to 27 feet to switch. Steph and KD would average 35 each. :damn:

Kareem would feast though.

Magic/Worthy being covered by Iggy/KD/Klay

When will you nikkas learn? You cannot win trading 2's for 3's, Golden State hits NBA Jam 30-foot threes. They have the versatility to switch everything on defense and have multiple ball handlers. The Cavaliers would also beat them, you aren't running a Showtime pace which is faster than anything now against superior athletes and shooters and coming out on top, simple...

Stop asking who is going to guard who, the Lakers don't have mismatches like that :mjlol:
-Klay Thompson at 6'7 220 lb. with great lateral quickness can defend Magic Johnson and they also have 6'7 Shaun Livingston
-Steph will be on Byron Scott
-Kevin Durant has defended guys like LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, do you really think he fears James Worthy? Have you seen his defense especially this year?
-KAJ will be defended by Zaza and JaVale McGee, he'd be a problem on offense, however his rebounding had fallen off greatly in the 80's and defensively he'd have to defend high screen and rolls, him on Steph 25 feet out just isn't a good idea
-Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala will all cover multiple positions, these are All-NBA level defenders and this years probable DPoY

The Warriors are a better team on both ends relative to era, and are far better defensively.

Do you really think Jordan would be the best athlete 2-guard in today's NBA "by far"? :jbhmm:

You said hitting 3's, now you're trying to qualify your statement. It doesn't matter if its from 23 or 33, it's only 3.
No offense, but this is a foolish statement.

So you gonna tell me it doesnt matter the distance when defending?

You hit the nail on the head. I recall reading a column that Kareem wrote after the 2012 finals ended where he was talking about how philosophies offensively had changed, and he gave a game of the 1984 finals as an example. The lakers and Celtics both scored 120+ in regulation and that the both of them combined to take maybe 20 shots from distance. Think about the pace you have to play at to reach those numbers. Now think about what taking 25-35 threes instead of 5-10 threes will do to that point total. That lakers team played at a pace of about 104. The average score of their games was 116-112. The warriors play at a pace of about 100 and the average score of their games are 116-104. That's 4 fewer possessions and they score as much while allowing 8 fewer points. It adds up real quick.
