Mad Men is pure perfection...so many little details...like the line about being stuck in the elevator and the end scene being a mirror image of that like home boy said above....i loved everything about the episode...don and sally are dope as fukk on screen together....lil girl is a mini don for real...love their dynamic. The stuff in the office was dope too...lol @ peggy still being bitter as fukk and that fukk boy lou avery (i hate dude) being a fukkin prick in every scene...

I absolutely Love this show. The depth is unbelievable. Glad for this thread too!

I saw this episode to reflect masks of insecurity. How we see ourselves and what we think we let everyone else see. It seems Don is realising how he really looks to everyone vs his truth whilst the office is the opposite. The office is a mess without his image cleaning and carefulness. The man needs to regain his composure, Don Draper with roaches, he is on his way back up!

Example,
Don and his fake work routine e.g when Dawn came and she reminded him she didn't want to copy those files.
Pete and his 'invisibilty'. Peggy being behind on everything, e.g her placement on screen even. Ginsburgh will overtake her. Shirley and Dawn, being shuffled and seen only as the black one.
Sally giving Don a real smile ( great acting). Cooper and his fake ass intelluctiual Aryn Rand reading racist self.
Finally Lou Avery top dikk who only sees himself.

as the series went on he got more likeable ... theres times when i want to slap his dumb face but over the last 2-3 seaons hes grown on me
