Explain why breh

Well for one, the food is good and they serve you so it's a nice experience. They show two trailers for new movies before the movie starts and the ones before that are just advertising special movies showing at the theater. Like today, they showed a preview for their quote a long night for Clue.

Before the trailers even start they show footage of movies or older movies related to the main feature so today they showed a lot of stunt movies or movies about apocalyptic wastelands and a Leonard Maltin review of the road warrior. Then they showed a nice little thing on George miller.

Then there's the fact that it's no talking no texting. And they're strict about it. You will be thrown out with no refunds if you try that shyt. And no one can be seated if they arrive 10 min after the movie starts. And no one under 18 is allowed unless they're accompanied by an adult.

It's just a really cool atmosphere and a dope experience. The one near me is showing the French connection tomorrow and if I felt like making the drive I'd go. And it's free for me cause I'm a victory member.

Oh and if you drink, they've got plenty. Even adult shakes breh.

There were tons of females in line for Pitch Perfect 2 this weekend. I was amazed. they showed out.

Say brehs, where in the Mad Max timeline does Fury Road take place? I was having a hard time placing it, not that it's a big deal but it's interesting nonetheless

Being that it's a soft reboot/ remake of Road Warrior... Just run with that.

a hater on the blu forum called this movie "mad maxine" :mjlol:

Yeah cause how dare a movie be written with strong women protagonist while not emasculating the main male character in the process. How dare George miller have a point of view and do something that very few filmmakers show the ability to do. Smh. Worlds going to hell in a handbasket breh unless we smarten up quick.

that nighttime scene in the desert was so beautiful :wow:

BRUH! The scene where Furiosa walked out into the open desert and screamed in emotional pain was one of the most BEAUTIFUL looking scenes I ever saw on film! :whoo:

I never thought the desert could look so radiantly gorgeous! :wow:

shyt was intense. I missed the sped up framerate from the Mad Max movies.

The movie was pretty much perfect in every way. Action packed, amazing acting, funny, emotional, beautiful cinematography, inventive stunts, hit all the great action beats, music. Everything. I loved it.

The ending was pretty much perfect as well. Furiosa comes back as the heroine to the enslaved masses and Max quietly makes his exit like hes always done. Because he doesnt belong with her or with people. Hes destined to roam the wastelands alone. Beautiful.

I swear to god if this movie doesnt make enough money for a sequel Im gonna be pissed.

I wouldn't worry too much about the box office being a big influence. There's a reason why they signed Hardy to a multi-picture deal back in '09, the plan was always to make multiple pictures from the start. The only thing that got in the way was that they had the worst luck during production which caused this movie to cost way more than it needed to be and taking longer than it needed to. But for a long time Mad Max has been one of WB's most successful franchises (the original was the most profitable film of all time for decades up until The Blair Witch Project) so Miller is in WB's good grace and given the extremely positive reaction to this one, they don't need to make a lot of money on this one to give the go-ahead for a sequel. Because between this movie making people interested in the original trilogy and the upcoming video game dropping later this year, they're going to make a lot of side-money as well.
