I thought the place with the crows was right near the place where they pulled down the tree? Its hard to tell how much distance and time takes place between the tree pull and the crows though.

They drove the rig like a couple hundred yards beyond the tree, then Max told Furiosa to take it down the path another half a click (roughly 500 yards) while he went back to take care of The Bullet Farmer. Then after Max returns, they get in the rig, drive on and only then pass the Green Place. So it was a fair bit past the tree.

The war boys all had cancer, so I think this is a legit way to restore blood cells and energy.http://www.cancer.org/treatment/tre...ion-why-cancer-patients-may-need-transfusions

Of course, the idea of walking around with a personal blood bank is definitely significant world building too. :pachaha:

Yup, the Organic Mechanic at the start said to prep Max (who was deemed an universal donor) because he had a War Boy dying. They use 'full lives' (eg. people with full health) for blood transfusions to cleanse their irradiated blood. So Nux wasn't hyping up of Max' blood, he simply restored his health somewhat from the blood transfusion.

That makes sense. I knew there was some logic behind it.

Outlaw Vern's review is up btw, of course he loved it but the main reason I'm mentioning it is because of the best part of his review, namely a 2007 conversation from his comment section that he put on the side about how everyone was trying to bury Miller's Justice League movie as a reminder to all the people who will surely pretend they were always fans of his and start sucking his dikk now all of a sudden.

I bet it’ll be a while before I get in another argument about whether or not George Miller still knows how to shoot action. - Outlaw Vern

are we to still believe that this takes place in Post-Apocalyptic Australia or somewhere else?
